You have no idea how long I've been wanted to do some Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter fanart. Truth be told, neither do I. I believe I've had the hankering since my senior year of high school back in 2001. Hehe, took me long enough, eh? Though don't ask me why I chose tonight to do it.
As I colored this in, I kept thinking of Anita quotes, particularly the one about black clothing hiding blood well. Smart woman
Her weapon of choice here is her 9mm Browning.Microns, Photoshop 6.0

LOL I agree with your comment, too, about some of her books being too sexual... especially her last one, Incubus Dreams... e.e;; I mean, it's hot stuff, can't deny that, but I do miss the good old days of Anita... Ah, well... I guess that is why I can re-read them ^_~

Yeah, LKH is pretty good at writing about teh steamy smex...but I miss, y'know, the PLOT! This is one of my favorite re-read series, too
Gotta ask - who is your fave guy? I was a Richard girl for the longest time, but when he ripped Stephen's beast out of him, I dropped him and ran.

I'll have to do that. In the mean time I'll comment on this. I love the way the line art is just that. No coloring but the way you drew it shades itself (ie. the lips) gorgeous. I love it! I like the smirk and just it's got a lot of expression in it!

gah, i love that series but me mum found one of the books and made me promise never to read them again (until i'm out of the house). so i only got through the first few books! it's poopy to say the least...

Well, there is that. Richard was my favorite too...then he made me cry. Now I'm mad at Anita for what she did to him and mad at him for how he responded. Grrrrr... But there are still good things in store. Like Nathaniel-stuff, and Damien-stuff.
