Another Shooting I did with Hasengott and the first time I cosplayed with Lydia aka Dreamvention cosplay! We've known each other forever and last summer we finally got to cosplay together! It's also my first Ghibli cosplay and d'aww I loooooove the movie! And this photo is one of my all-time favourites!
Domi is a photography-god, srsly though! Look at the light and the location and aahh!
I. had. SO. MUCH. FUN!
We both made our costumes ourselves from scratch.

I saw this and was like
"umm.... who are these people cosplaying?"
Then I read the first line up to "Gondoa" and was like "OH MY GOSH, YES".
My heart skipped a beat right there. This is by far my favorite Miyazaki movie ever. I've watched it 18 times and never get tired of it. This is an amazing shot and the costumes are perfect! You brought back some sweet memories for me.

When I first saw this movie, I thought Sheeta was Kiki.
Then when I saw this, I thought she was Kiki again until I remembered the fact that:
1: This scene never happened in Kiki's Delivery Service
2: This was actually from Castle in the Sky
So...lol. XD
Anyways! This is amazing! :3 I recognized these two almost right away~

haha! Yeah, I think Sheeta and Kiki have a very similar clothing style, but on a closer look, Kiki's outfit is a bit darker and her dress seems to be a bit … poofyer? But maybe that's just the wind <'D!

Well actually, I looked it up and I never noticed it before...but Sheeta's clothing is actually rather different from Kiki's in that Sheeta wears a bright blue dress. Kiki, however, wears a PURPLE oversized shirt! :3 So they're actually quite different. That's why Kiki's looks poofier, because it's actually a really big shirt that is probably meant to keep her warm when she's flying up high.
They do wear the same shoes, but their hair styles are vastly different. Sheeta has braided pigtails, and Kiki keeps her hair short and up in a bow. I honestly never noticed this.
But knowing that, you did very well in portraying Sheeta! If you can still have it at the point where it makes me confuse your cosplay for a Kiki cosplay, that means you've nailed it!
