This was my first time painting the human figure with acrylics. I didn't really know what I was doing and struggled with smoothing/blending brushstrokes, but I ended up really liking the dynamic effect that the brushstroke textures left on the dress : )

Another challenge is that the pencil lines from my original drawing show through where the colors are lighter, like that hands. Any tips to avoid this in the future?
