((Seeing Bite Sized Monster Life is mostly a PG-13 comic strip, I wanted to break away from the "succubus=sex deviant" trope taken by most media when it comes to this comic world's succubi (and incubi). Taking inspiration from the manga Demi-chan wa Kataritai (roughly translated to "Interviews with Monster Girls"), I focused more on the "dream demon" aspect of the succubus mythos, as well as take a more natural and defensive approach on these demons' ability to turn people suggestible. This doesn't necessarily mean that all succubi (and incubi) wouldn't use their pheromone and dream abilities to harm victims, but there are those like Marge's friend here who just wanted to live normal lives and read manga that doesn't oversexualize her kind.))
