Description
THIS IS A FAN MADE CHARACTER FROM THE WEBCOMIC DRAGON BALL MULTIVERSE WRITEN BY SALAGIR, YEARS BEFORE GINE (GOKU'S CANON MOTHER) SHOWED UP, SO PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND! ANY COMMENTS ABOUT GINE WILL BE DELETED
With that out of the way, let's continue...
And yes, I am that kind of fan who DESPISES Dragon Ball Super and everything that came after DBZ. Yeah, call me a conservative, close-minded fan, I don't care. For me, DB was supposed to end on Z but... if uncle Akira wants some more money, who am I to judge? It is my right not to like everything he does, after all. But that's not what I want to discuss here, so please guys, respect my opinions, please!
I loved DBM ever since I started reading it, years ago (Yeah, DBM is way better than DBS for me, sorry) and Hanasia was one of the characters I came to love from this webcomic. She is Goku and Raditz's mother and a very strong, independant character, a true saiyan female. She is exactly how I imagined a true saiyan woman would be like! (Everything Gine.... isn't) so I loved her ever since she was introduced. I made this drawing of her a loooong time ago and only now I saw that I haven't posted her here yet, so I'm gonna do that now

Well okay I know almost nothing about Dragon Ball (like you probably are not interested about W.I.T.C.H ) but I decided trying leaving you a comment here. Sorry if it is not a good one!
Anyway:
I am not familiar with this universe but this woman surely looks like Goku and she indeed looks strong. Her armory looks interesting and I particularly like her long, tame-less hair. I wonder where the name "Hanasia" came from, I mean the kanji consisting it. I am aware of Goku that he was based on the old Chinese legend about the King Monkey Su-Wukong (in japanese "Son Goku") who was supposed to be a monkey with mystical powers, who could lift objects thousand times bigger than he was and that he traveled across Asia towards the west but I have no clue about Hanasia. Sounds like a strange yet interesting name for Japanese culture (but then again Raditz sounds too!)
I like how the pose was inspired by Goku and I can tell that she was strong. Her face looks kinda "manly", resembling Goku a lot but I bet that was the point probably; to point out more her strength ratherthan her "femme fatale charm". Understandable. Like I said I am not really aware of any of DragonBall characters apart from the really basicts...
The choice of background looks interesting too; like a planet or a sphere of some sort. Nicely done to contrast the colors of the character.

Haha, that was very nice of you! I don't know if Dragon Ball would interest you, unless you like lots and lots of power and brute strenght, but Dragon Ball was the first anime I liked and it still gives me inspiration.
Btw, Kaiba's story with Ishizu was slightly inspired in the story of Bulma and Vegeta , haha
(Vegeta is Goku's rival but he was also an enemy in the past)
Yeah, I think she resembles him slightly, though Goku looks more like his father, Bardock . But her other son Raditz looks a lot like her Yeah, I also love her armor design
I don't know for sure where the name "Hanasia" comes from, since she was created by another fan, called Salagir. He writes a fan webcomic about Dragon Ball called DB Multiverse and I really love it more than the canon anime Dragon Ball Super (Which I really hate lol) but, since Saiyan names always come from vegetables, I guess her name is based in some kind of vegetable. It's a recurrent joke in the anime that pure-blooded Saiyans always have names based on vegetables
(Vegeta being the most obvious example
)
Hanasia, like I said, is a Saiyan, which is a race of alien warriors who looks like humans, except they have a monkey tail (which here is wrapped around her waist) and they can turn into giant apes if they stare into a full moon and their power grows immensely. They can also turn into Super Saiyan (with the golden hair and stuff ) if they train enough. The Saiyans in the anime used to be an "evil" race of space conquerors (like the Roman empire) but they were destroyed by a tyrant named Freeza (who is another of Goku's nemesis) I guess that's how I can best summarize what a Saiyan is
Yeah, she is indeed strong. I guess all Saiyan females have "manly" characteristics, since they are a race of warriors, born to fight to the death.
The planet on the background is Planet Vegeta, the home planet of the Saiyans that was destroyed by Freeza when he realized the Saiyans could destroy him and saw them as a threat to his empire

Don't worry about that!
I have seen animes with brute strength or rather too much bloody stuff and such. I have seen plenty of stuff like that. It just never appealed me to watch Dragon Ball. Maybe I could give it a try once, who knows...
I see. Yeah I believe you have mentioned that once in the past
I see! Yeah I see your point.
Seyan names come from vegetables? Oh boy that was a new thing! Hehehehehe! (Hahahahha! True! Now it makes sense!)
Yeah I can understand that. Since Son Goku was practically inspired by an actual god-monkey, the Monkey King Su Wukong from Chinese mythology, who was also called Son Goku in Japanese version of the myth so it makes sense that she has monkey tail
Yes I see
I guess. Even if the "manly" appearance has to do with the genes too and not just the training but I see where you're coming from. It makes sense
I see. Now I get it. Looks nice the way it seems from afar indeed.

Dragon Ball has a sort of crazy story, but it's very cool, nonetheless. The anime is very fun to watch and the characters are great. Maybe you could try it someday You will understand why I was so inspired by Vegeta and Bulma's relationship to make my Trustshipping story
Yes! That's the fun of it! And their King and Prince are both named "Vegeta" (King Vegeta Sr and his son, Vegeta) so I think that's where the joke comes from Also, Goku's original saiyan name, Kakarot comes from "carrots"
Yes, I know

So I heard people say. It might be interesting indeed. Maybe I'll give it a try.
Yes I remember you mentioned it.
Hehehehehehe! I see! Yeah probably!
Hahahaha! Is that so? Well...random!

Hanasia had potential to be a decent character, but Salagir turned her into an older Son Bra... an unlikable and boastful Mary Sue.

Well, I like Son Bra (despite her flaws) but Hanasia is still better than Gine in my opinion
