Like uranium? All steam engines need a heat source. Currently, we only know how to achieve that with burning things and using radiation.

Oh no, it burns crude oil. Much easier to store. But, in answer to your question, it gets 40 miles per ton of oil.

I say, this is a rather interesting car. If they mass produced it, I woul buy one(Steam locomotives rules) The only thing I can think of thats missing is a cowcatcher and an airhorn(if its not hidden anyway)
