Fun with sorcery! And digital effects--mostly digital effects.

If anything, this drawing highlights just how much I have to learn about lighting and shadows. On the bright side (heheh, pun intended) I think I got the anatomy of the character herself to work much better than it did in the initial sketch.

And the writing, yeah, I'm not entirely certain it works, so opinions on it would be welcome. I just snatched a few scraps from my current story. At the moment, I haven't really revised that much, so it's pretty rough rhetorically.
