From Quasimodo’s past, Frollo was always very cruel to him. My version doesn’t differ to far from the movie, but I did change a few things.Frollo is the archdeacon once again, Quasimodo suffers mental and physical abuse by his hand (which was in the movie but tamer since it was meant for kids). He has a lot of trauma to resolve, he has it mostly configured by the time he meets Ines, though he isn’t healed by any means. Some wounds last forever.
