4:59. Caribbean. The Butterfly Island.

All of Butterfly Island was having strange dreams. Even the early workers had been caught by surprise with a sudden sleepiness. At the same time, from the sky fell a round shaped object of human size at a slow but determined rate. The island, known to be peaceful, was bathed in a peculiar light which was getting brighter and brighter as the unidentified object came closer. Nature had fallen silent facing such an unsual event. Was the phenomenon ominous? As things stood at this time, it was too soon to tell.

4h59. Caraïbes. L'île Papillon.

L'île papillon tout entière était plongée dans les songes les plus étranges. Même les travailleurs matinaux avaient été pris d'une soudaine envie de se rendormir. Au même moment dans le ciel, un objet de taille humaine et de forme sphérique se laissait tomber à allure légère mais décidée. L'île d'ordinaire si paisible se retrouvait baignée d'une lueur singulière qui s'intensifiait à mesure que le corps inconnu se rapprochait. La nature quant à elle s'était tue, mue par le spectacle qu'elle savait peu anodin. Le phénomène était-il de mauvais augure? Il était encore trop tôt pour le dire.

Let me introduce you the new piece I've spent the most time on! *clap clap clap* well I mean I don't know if it's worth being clapped, but I'm definitely happy to become more and more persistent the artwork was initially thought to suit a challenge I was participating in and I reworked it so that it suits my needs for a story.

What do you think? Is the two part composition weird? Is it readable? Are the "decorated" borders messy? Do you experience any feeling? Am I asking too many questions? Feedbacks are always greatly appreciated !

The universe I'm trying to develop is meant to be child friendly but not too innocent, dreamlike but believable. I don't want to spend too much time on writing but I do want the paragraphs to be easy and pleasant to read so you're free to comment on this too
