I've been switching between artistic medium quite a lot and I really don't know which one I like the most. Thus I decided to do a little experiment where I tried to color the same figure upon the same "conditions" (same coloring techniques, same amount of time...approximately^^) and here are my thoughts:

-digital: clean, quick, awesome potential, I miss the paper, blending bores me to death
-markers: the quickest, the easiest, I love the smell, the least flexible, expensive
-gouache: great potential, I can't handle a brush, mixing colors is hard, I'm often too impatient to let it dry, I wish I knew how to use it
-color pencils: great potential, easy to handle overall, tiresome and thus the longest (you need some elbow grease to build values and blend colors)
-watercolor: enjoyable, potential unknown, I can't handle a brush, I'm often too impatient to let it dry, the outcome is sometimes impredictable but it often does magic

Conclusion: I still don't know x) I can see when a medium may be the best option depending on the idea I want to go for but other than that...however I'm still a beginner and I might have a better idea as I progress !
