Description
Sweet Kodex.... and she's back on my 'work in progress' table AGAIN!. This time I decided to make a 3 parts torso for her (to go with her 3 parts legs and 3 parts arms)... ^___^Douce Kodex... et elle est de retour sur ma table de travail, ENCORE! Cette fois-ci j'ai décidé de lui faire un torse en 3 parties (pour aller avec ses jambes et ses bras )... ^___^

So unfinished and yet already so lovely <3 You really have a fabulous style. It's unique from most bjd, stylized but not overly so. I really love it <3
I would have given anything to have found you when your little rabbit was still in production. Glad to see you're still crafting dolls. Maybe I'll have a chance for your next release ^.^

This little one I made her with paper clay, but you can also use LaDoll, or Super sculpey ^^

Ah thanks, i have super sculpey and that was what i was planning to use since it's durable, but i figured i would poke around for ideas and this one is super cute. Your work is adorable. Would you recommend sanding the super sculpey to get fine details rounded out?

If you sand your sculpey you're going to have sanding lines on your surface, if it's for a final result I will not recommended it. The best way to smooth sculpey is with alcohol or turpenoid. Another way to work with sculpey is once you have your general shape put it into the oven, that way you're going to have a strong surface to work on, after just add a final layer of sculpey all around and work your details on it, use the alcohol or turpenoid at the end and the surface should be smooth enough! ^^ wait a little and put it all in the oven, just be careful, keep en eye on your sculpture, sculpey can burn quite fast! ^_^
Hope that helps!
