Description
Here we go! I remade Cam's reference after FOREVERYep, he's a character in Rogue Wings! I changed his stripe to spots to match with the species name, and added some glowy stripes on his wings because I wanted more GLOW
He's not one of the main 4 characters who travel around together, but he does appear for a few chapters!
Next up, Saden, and another species in this story will be revealed with it!
Also I forgot to add the black line around the colour guide, but I think it looks fine without it.Β

It's been just under a year since you made the previous reference, and you've already improvedΒ a lot!

Hahaha don't remind me. I had such a weird problem with my art last year, where all my characters looked really chubby, even if they weren't intended to be
Anyway, thanks so much! Yeah, I was looking at the old ref for colour reference, and I was so confused because I thought the character was pretty recent compared to some others.

I think every artist goes through some weird phase when their art looks really strange, lol. I went through a phase of drawing everything with REALLY long legs, compressed bodies, and really shitty anatomy in general.
And you're very welcome!

Yeah definitely, I remember when your cats had really canine proportions. Yeah, definitely every artist goes through something like that with anatomy.Β
Okay but my old drawings didn't look slightly strange anatomy wise, remember my old style of drawing fur, and how shaky my lines were?
Ehehe good times

LOL YES
I have always struggled with anatomy, especially when it comes to dynamic poses. My biggest issue is that I used to be afraid to practice things that I was bad at, because I hated not being able to draw as good as I wanted. That's why I'm 25 and I've only been drawing seriously for three years, whoops. Now I practice all the fucking time, because I know nothing will get better if I don't practice and study art. I think seeing improvement in my art and other's art is one of my favourite things about being an artist.

Yeah, I can totally agree that seeing my improvement and others is great!
Also, one thing I'm really bad at and want to practice is humans, I did a headshot in art camp on appear that was really good, but it's at my mom's house and and with my dad right now, so once I get back I'm gonna try to practice with humans, hopefully!
