A kid dwarf. With a beard.It's Tolkien. I ain't gotta explain shit.

Sorry for the spam, but actually, I'd like to explain some shit. This is inspired by an exchange between Aulë and his lovely Yavanna in the Silmarillion, when she gets her panties in a twist over her precious trees getting cut down by the dwarves:
'Now let thy children beware! For there shall walk a power in the forests whose wrath they will arouse at their peril.' 'Nonetheless they will have need of wood,' said Aulë, and he went on with his smith-work.

Yavanna has always struck me as bloody annoying, so have a picture of a dwarf kid being over the moon about having to feed the raging furnaces in some grand smithy in Belegost. :b

This is the cutest ever. I like how androgynous the child is, could easily be either sex, and you managed that with a baby beard. And how happy it is with the wood, one as large as it, reminds that the Dwarves are hard workers and would encourage that in their children, also that they are stronger than human children.
But those little ears~ and I want the shoes. Mine gimme~

Those shoes are kinda fab. I imagine she (I honestly drew it in my mind picturing a girl, but human children of either gender look pretty much the same until they hit puberty - and I figured it would be the same for dwarves) comes from a fairly wealthy family, and her working shoes are capped with mithril. It's probably her first day or so helping out the adults, she can't be any prouder of herself lol
