Description
Just optimizung and testing some settings for Dinorauls Phorusrhacos. Made for Poser the Terrorbird needs some adjustments for DAZ-Studio. Beside this i modeled some discreet morphs for the tail and foot in Hexagon for it and changed the eyes by Β taking a photo of my own eyes and made an new map out of it.A very underrated beast in the movies... I remember it last seen in Emmerichs 10,000 B.C. and there only for some (too) short scenes... In some upcoming Level of my DAMNADAS-project we will see that it can easily par up to the overrated Velociraptor

Very cool, I love prehistoric animals.
I think it looks rather good, the feathers too.

Some tests with bump- and discreet displacement-maps. It's always trial and error to found out suitable settings for the 3Delight.

Yes, but what kind of chicken:
Phorusrhacos grew up to 2.5 metres (8.2 ft) tall and weighed approximately 130 kilograms (290 lb).[1] They had enormous skulls up to sixty centimeters long, armed with powerful, hook-tipped beaks. The structure of the beak and the large claws on the toes show that they were carnivorous. (Wikipedia)
Never mind the raptors... you have a bigger problem...

Yes I remember seeing artwork of one hunting the dimutive ancestors of horses. I have a model for one though I do not remember exactly which species. I always wanted to set up a picture with a "jungle girl", though terror birds and humans never met (As far as we know).
