(3rd, last stage)The A.t.l.a.s. Computer - (Digital) Artificial Tele-empathic Logistics Analysis System (ATLAS). After reading what Atlas actually was I did a illustration for it which turned out to be this.
Here the computer is uploading data gathered from the DNA RNA strands of the prisoners in between navigating through the galaxy (see computer screen). In a nutshell Atlas was a computer which studied mutations that ocurred in the gene pool of prisoners who were being used in a sort of a colonization guinea pig experiment. A very nice interpretation of one of the most intriguing characters/devices in SC. Love that it has a human face grafted on (perhaps even a human brain?).

Thank you. The way I imagined it too was there was some part of a human brain, but it was picked apart to take away sections to prevent full consciousness of the adjutant, sort of a bio-mechanical thing. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
