In a way, this scene is almost an exact parallel to the scene in Dragon Ball Z when Vegeta tries to take the fight to Frieza personally and engages him head-on. Like Vegeta, Satsuki leads a revolt and is facing against an opponent that is leagues ahead of her power, then has all her efforts thrown back in her face. And like Frieza, Ragyo lets Satsuki have her fun before quickly turning the tables and giving her a huge dose of a very serious reality: Satsuki isn't strong enough to take her down alone, nor was she ever.ο»Ώ

There are similarities indeed though in Vegeta's case it was more "I need to kill that ass who dares to order me around" than Save or Avenge my people. Not to mention that Vegeta was a one-person revolt because he had no followers, one of whom he personally killed.
Satsuki was indeed to weak, she never stood a chance as a fighter, her forte was planning and supporting. Ryuuko was truly a Goku to her Vegeta (though Bulma or Piccolo would probably fit better)

Both I guess, it's really quite terrifying that Ryuko who was extremely neglected by Isshin and bullied at school actually had a Healthier childhood than Satsuki.
The bit where she tore Ryuko's heart out... when she speaks there is that disturbing, twisting "tenderness" in her voice.

To be honest Neither Ryuko or Satsuki had the best childhoods, but Satsuki I'd say got hit pretty hard with the truth, turning her to what she is in the anime.
As for Ragyo I'd say she sounds rather aroused...I am not even joking, the way she speaks and the look in her eyes, that woman freaks me out, but I am hella curious what will happen next! I don't think Ragyo will attempt to kill ryuko, I mean yes she beat the fuck out of Satsuki, but Ryuko is her presumed "failed" experiment, so I am sure she will want to experiment with her or some sick shit like that...

Yeah she turned from a happy, cheerful girl into the grim faced Evil Overlord we all know and love. The big difference between Satsuki and Ryuuko is that one of them had a purpose in life while the other didn't. Satsuki built her identity around her quest to defeat Ragyo and Life Fiber. Ryuuko didn't have anything like that, she was confused, hurt, scared. She was abandoned by her father, made fun of by her classmates. She didn't know what she was, why she was born, why nobody loved her. She tried to attract attention by being a delinquent but that only spiralled down into cycle of violence.
Yes aroused and very very excited. Oh no no no she will most certainly not try to kill Ryuko. Ryuko is her precious little experiment, her lovely little daughter and heir. She is what Ragyo tried to create, a being like herself. She called Satsuki her heir but Satsuki was inferior material, just a normal human. Ryuko is something else, her True inheritor.

True, I have to say this anime is taking an almost scary turn, but I am enjoying this ride, Trigger is predictable with this anime, but I must say I've never felt so hooked in an anime for years!

Not exactly, Satsuki's Main beaf with Ragyo was that she killed her father and little sister. Life Fibers are actually secondary here, just another kick in the gut against Ragyo.
