So... yeah, I've been reading two absolutely awesome fanfics past the last week or two. One entitled "Hill of Swords", the other "In Flight". Shirou Emiya was the protagonist of both thrown into the world of Zero no Tsukaima and Sekirei respectivelly. And this poster is... more of a tribute to him in those two stories than him in the Fate/Stay Night game. What I'm getting at ?? Well what I mean is that this guy is an absolute MONSTROSITY on the level comparable to Jack Rakan when it comes to awesomness. Taking on armies, monsters, giants, mages, super-strong aliens and who knows what else while remaining a clever, snarky badass. A badass that loves to cook and brew tea in his free time, have soft spot for cute things (more like a deadly weakness in the Hill) is very caring and loving to those he consider friends and he will mercilessly dice you into managaeble pieces if you try to hurt his friends. damn it's so hard to pinpoint what's so awesome in him cause there are so many things to consider. Anyway if you are familiar with Fate/Stay Night and either Zero no Tsukaima or Sekirei let me know and I'll drop you the adresses to those two fanfics, trust me they are worth the time you'll spend at reading them.Right, if this art belongs to someone here, let me know and I'll remove it.

it just ended to short to me, I love the chapter before the last but then he just up and died while saying he had a kid but never who the mother was, plus they never found the servants master the other void user.

Well that's because the story was written before the 4th season came out. The author just didn't have the material to work with, unfortunately.

Well, to be hondest i never understood WHY Shirou should be badass, that was the time where i stopped watching F/SN Anime because he was such a boring character full withΒ hypocrisy and kind of stupid manerism ...Β
Then i thought, "Fuck it! I'm gonna play the VNs" ... and now after UBW i have to admitt: "Yes, he is the boss #1."

Well F/SN is based mainly on Fate and Shirou didn't exactly cover himself in glory in that route XD Now UBW and HF are Entirely different stories. Not to mention that studios often screw up when animating Type Moon stuff...

i just finished the fate night series i wished tht i ll see more of archer and emiya!! i was hoping they ll go into much details but zero no tsukaima isnt it more off boobs and ecchi haha

You should play the visual novel, the anime doesn't even present 20% of Fate/Stay Night glory :-3 And if you want more EMIYA you should watch Unlimited Blade Works movie (still, better to play the novel)
And yes ZnT is mostly about boobs and ecchi... which proves how good Gabriel Blessing is because he dropped most of the silly stuff and created a really awesome and captivating story.

But I haven't seen Familiar of Zero and don't think I will, as I already have a long list of anime to see. Currently going through Nadia, Superman the Animated Series, and looking into My Little Pony. And I've promised myself one of these days to marathon Garden of Sinners.

Now that I've actually read "Hill of Swords", I have to say that this is a well deserved tribute to the awesomeness that was written within. Baddass, does not even BEGIN to cover the Shirou that was there. Especially that last fight, that fight had to have been the epitome of epic and then it probably jumped over the line made by epic, back flipped several times and left Epic behind in shame to find something fare more appropriate.
Now I'm off to stick my nose in Sekirei so that I can read the other fic, because if it's even HALF as awesome as the first, I have to read it.

Yeah Shirou is absolutely awesome isn't he ^^ Ohhh that fanfic just drips with sarcasm and irony and cynicism and so much pure unrestrained AWESOME. One of my absolutely favourite elements is the fact that Gabriel made Louise and Guiche Likeable, that's quite an achievement. And as for the final battle
"Your boot is unlaced ?? You show me magic so powerful that it recreates reality and swords so powerful that they make me feel a little inadequate and at the end you tell her, her Boot is unlaced"
This was the absolute icing on the cake XD Damn how much I'd give for him writing the part between the last chapter and epilogue, Shirou and Louise's adventures must have been totally awesome.
It certainly is worth reading oh and if you liked Tabitha I'm sure you'll enjoy In Flight cause pretty much the first Sekirei Shirou gets is Very much like Tabitha :-3

I've just stuck my nose in the Sekirei manga. I have to agree with one of the translator's comments... "Welcome to another episode of Pimpimon! I mean Sekirei!" He WOULD choose a series that offers an absolutely ridiculous amount of fanservice. Next up after Sekirei he'll probably stick Shirou in either Negima, or Rosario + Vampire. XD I'm going to keep off of "In Flight" for a while until I read farther in through Sekirei. I'm loling at least once every chapter so far, no wonder he chose it...
As for the Hill of Swords. Yea, that final battle was ridiculously awesome. He went to the edge and beyond, finishing it with a good old fashioned beat down. Though, from that chapter, I also loved that note he left at the end, with going to kill the King of Gallia. I'm hoping that he does end up writing those adventures in the years until the Epilogue, I've even made mention of it in the review I left. It's rare these days that I find a fic with so much awesomeness in it that I want to review even though there's nothing but praise to give out. I even made mention of the reptile thing, because it was waay to funny not to mention...
Reminds me of the "Thousand Shinji" fanfic back in the Evangelion section, that was another piece of awesome, even if in a different way...

Haha yeah Pimpimon, cute and sexy girls intead of Pokemons, a shame that Minato can't "Catch Them all" but if Shirou works out how to deal with Akitsu's problem he might just be able to steal Sekirei from other Ashikabi... theoretically because he would never really do it. Ohhhh Shirou in Negima would be so awesome, he'd hit it off instantly with Mana XD Especially if he was THoS Shirou.
Yeah the beatdown was great, it kinda reminded me of the Negi vs. Rakan fight, ridiculous super techniques through the entire match and at the end... a simple slug-fest, which was Awesome in its own way. Haha yeah I laughed at the note, the causality with which he wrote it. And now only Pope of Romalia remains XD Haha yeah the reptilian love for Shirou was awesome, but the explanation was even better "Because he poinked Arturia aka She of the Dragon Aspect" And I really want to know whom Shirou boinked in the Epilogue. He'll have a LOT of explaining to do if he and Saber ever somehow visit ZnT world.
Ah one of the Epic Evangelion fics, Personally I decided on reading "Nobody Dies", an absolutely hilarious and crazy awesome fic. Ayanami Rei is an insane, genki girl monster of a girl who Falcon Punches Angels and rides an Eva with a mentality of Captain America armed with a drill, and YES she DOES Giga Drill Break an Angel at some point. And she has seven equally crazy awesome sisters.

While Minato's inability to catch them all would be bothersome, he has yet to do anything significant with the ones he does have... (stupid Japanese harem wimp...) I'm curious to see what comes from the Shirou/Akitsu angle. When I first saw it, I was thinking... "Oh no he didn't!", but he did it anyway. XD I wonder if he'll have him hook up with Rin and Saber again, or keep it up with the harem. Still, this thing with Akitsu sealed it for me, I think the one he got pregnant in THoS was Tabitha. I was initially between her and Henrietta...
Mana and Shirou, there's an interesting combination... I was also thinking of how Shirou might try to kill Eva out of principle because she's a vampire before he realizes what her real situation is. XD Then there's Rakan! I can see it now, the contest to end all contests about who has the most awesome swords with plenty of destruction thrown in the mix! Or, imagine a Shirou with training from that maniac... there's a scary thought! Though mixing the two world's mechanics for magic would probably be very complicated...
As for "Nobody Dies" I know about it, but I'm waiting for it to finish before sticking my nose into it properly. I shamelessly admit that I'm a Shinji/Asuka shipper. While I don't go crazy on other people and their preferred pairings, if any, I don't bother with fics that don't include it except rarely. "Thousand Shinji" had it, but went beyond it (a.k.a. Shinji + Asuka + Rei + Misato + I'm not saying anymore but it's not Ritsu or Maya)

True, at times I'm preying for an intelligent, sensible and caring harem hero. Word of God states that Shirou will most likely sleep with some of his Sekirei, the "experimentation" with Kissing Akitsu into daze seems to suggest that adding more "genetic material" may increase the od output, and Shirou Did say that he was willing to give Matsu a Full Tantric Ritual XD Hmm well its hard to say, but I think that Rin and Saber won't be happy at seeing what he was getting up to in Shin Tokyo, Excali-worthy unhappy XD Mhm I'm rooting for Tabitha too, she deserves to get a bit of love and happiness. And their baby would be SO FUCKING BADASS, especially with Louise around to teach the kid his or her father's tricks.
Ah yes he might just try, when he talked with Homura and thought he was an apostle he almost went after him with swords XD Oh God, Shirou and Rakan... Rakan beats him in pure, destructive power but their swords... Dear God and Rakan would go totally fanboy over UBW, its pretty much Shirou's version of Rakan's artifact. Ah yeah putting the magic systems would be hard... especially with the Nasu-maniacs guarding the whole thing like Cerberus.
Haha well if you are an AsukaxShinji shipper then Nobody Dies will make you a happy happy person. They are shipped together pretty much the moment they meet, or even before and it only gets better from there. Yui Ikari pretty much mentions Grandkids to Asuka one time... well biological grandkids cause she already has a bunch of AI ones XD And don't even get me started on Terrifying Rei.

Yea, I'm expecting that he'll end up sleeping with some of them at some point as well, perhaps all of them aside from Kuu who's simply too young at the moment. I loved how he compared Akitsu's making out related daze with how Chachamaru ended up after getting "screwed". XD As for Rin and Saber, well, we still don't know WHY the two of them broke up with him, aside from the fact that he's on the run. That's not that much of an excuse though, seeing as they could have left with him if the relationship was strong enough. I'm thinking that Shirou deserves some girls that actually love him without reservation and, despite their circumstances, some of the Sekirei qualify. So, while it's obvious that the two might get pissed, they'd be in a bad position considering the overall power of Shirou's new harem.
As for the Negima cross over, who knows, maybe he will pull it off if he wants too. Though it probably won't happen until he's done with 'In Flight' and I'm hoping that he'll take some time to write some of those missing moments from 'Hill of Swords', which would have all sorts of awesome in them. He did mention some dimension hoping at some point for Louise and Shirou. That would not only be awesome, but it's feasible too, seeing as there's this Void spell called 'World Gate' that could in theory access Saito's (in this case Shirou's) world, and thus it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine that it could access other worlds as well.
Also, I might look in on 'Nobody Dies' a bit sooner than I thought I would... Terrifying Rei is awesome when done well, so I'm curious. Sounds like I could get plenty of lulz from that fic... I'll have to see where I fit it in on my reading program. XD

And Homura, unless Homura totally changes his personality and will feel comfortable with being Shirou's "woman", still Shirou will feel awkward as hell XD Also... Musubi Seem like she is too innocent for sex but... who knows. Oh yes the Chachamaru-screwing was an absolutely awesome comparison XD And very appropriate too, when he started snogging her I half expected him to wing her like with Negi XD Well knowing Shirou I wouldn't be surprised if he just broke up with them in order to protect them. Mhm true the love offered by Sekirei is very strong but... personally I prefer the relationships he had with Akitsu and Miya (though it won't develop into romantic relationship) their love feels more... true and certain, they didn't fell in love with him because of some ritual but because they wanted to. With Akitsu it may be debatable as she was desperate to have an Ashikabi but I bet that the longer she is with Shirou the more certain she is that he is the one for her. To be honest... I wonder how it would be if Shirou never winged the other Sekirei and only had Akitsu. Haha maybe he'd pull some Superhero together with her, running around Shin Tokyo and messing with the Sekirei Plan. with Akitsu, a scrapped number and not being registered as a proper Ashikabi he could really pull Lancer.

She IS awesome, Falcon Punching Angels, Raping Kaworu in the eye, having 7 equally crazy sisters, one of which wanted to have a threesome with Asuka and Shinji and her skills in using the Ventilation Ducts... dear god, she'd give Xenomorphs heart attacks. And she will LITERALLY rip someone a new asshole if they try to hurt her friends, Especially Asuka whom she ships with Shinji XD The most Badass Little Sister EVER. And her kids are AI programs which pilot Spidertanks and shoot at monsters in Fallout-ish Australia XD

He is more than a badass. He is the epitome of all that is GAR, and AWESOME.
Truthfully though, he's a very interesting character, whose mentality can be interpreted in many different ways. And he was portrayed masterfully in both of those fics. His complexity and incredible attractiveness as a character is comparable to others such as Darth Vader, though I believe he is by far the most interesting.

Yeah, actually it's fascinating that we can see not only his current self and the Character Development but also what he Ends up as... at least in one of the countless realities. A broken, disillusioned badass who realised how unrealistic his ideals are. It's such a fun that at the same time he is both a kind, warm, caring person and an unrelenting fighter that will dice you to pieces if you provoke him. And he COOKS, and he LOVES IT. That always cracked me up in those fics, the lengths to which he was willing to go in order to cook.

Speaking of fanfics... There is a Negima one going on that you would definitely like.
So it goes like this: Imagine Negi's actually 15 years old, yeah? Ok, now that's a pretty common twist. Now picture him, as a calculating, decieving, magnificent bastard, with a savvy and eccectric behavior, and a wittier and more sarcastic tongue than Archer.
Are you keeping up with me? If yes, then ok, if now then WONDROUS! You're getting into the spirit of the thing! Now, imagine for a second that after his village burned, he was raised by Ragna The Bloodblade (or whatever the guy's title is), and the universe of the fic includes things such as Anya being the Clocktower's agent, and Eva being a Dead Apostle. And every other character ALSO being a lesser magnificent bastard.
Mash it all up with the craziest, most intricate, and joyfully snarky narration and writing, and voilΓ‘!
