So... yeah, I've been reading two absolutely awesome fanfics past the last week or two. One entitled "Hill of Swords", the other "In Flight". Shirou Emiya was the protagonist of both thrown into the world of Zero no Tsukaima and Sekirei respectivelly. And this poster is... more of a tribute to him in those two stories than him in the Fate/Stay Night game. What I'm getting at ?? Well what I mean is that this guy is an absolute MONSTROSITY on the level comparable to Jack Rakan when it comes to awesomness. Taking on armies, monsters, giants, mages, super-strong aliens and who knows what else while remaining a clever, snarky badass. A badass that loves to cook and brew tea in his free time, have soft spot for cute things (more like a deadly weakness in the Hill) is very caring and loving to those he consider friends and he will mercilessly dice you into managaeble pieces if you try to hurt his friends. damn it's so hard to pinpoint what's so awesome in him cause there are so many things to consider. Anyway if you are familiar with Fate/Stay Night and either Zero no Tsukaima or Sekirei let me know and I'll drop you the adresses to those two fanfics, trust me they are worth the time you'll spend at reading them.Right, if this art belongs to someone here, let me know and I'll remove it.

Shirou. Emiya Shirou is by far the most interesting of the two.

he is what i call a 'complete' character, his backstory and development prior the Series/Game is consitent with his action/development in the Game.
That is something to praise, not that FSN lacks things to praise

from what i understand:
Avenger possed Shiro leading to a loss of abilites for shiro
or copied his from, thus never having all his abilites
he faked his interaction with the others through thier Memories of Shiro, so the only one to see through his cover was someone who never met Shiro(karen osita)

I know and love all mentioned series.
Shirou Emiya/EMIYA/Servant Archer, in my opinion the most complex Character in FSN. Despite his Shortcomings, or maybe because of them, he turned himself into an Idea, not unlike Batman or Haku. It's just that he became something of a deconstruction. In that point, when it comes to Badass, Awesome by analysis and the Hero(and my fav, unwanted harem) he fits
it.

Well then prepare yourself for Awesome Overload :-3 The Shirou in Hill of Swords is ALMOST-Archer, he is cynic, snarky, disillusioned and not a very happy person in general. Hehe Louise tried to treat him like Saito but as soon as in the second chapter she witnessed his battle prowess and pure bloodthirstiness and was forced to sit down and listen carefully as he explained WHY it is not a good idea to abuse and belittle a being that can take on armies and win.

And here we have In Flight, Shirou being dropped right into Shin Tokyo while running away from Clock Tower, the first Sekirei he meets is Karasuba... which leaves a lasting impression, here Shirou is less "broken" than in HoS but is still a very sarcastic and disillusioned character when it comes to war (which he thinks Sekirei plan is and plans accordingly) It's worth to read it if only for the interaction between Shirou and Yukari as well as Shirou and Miya XD FOR GOD'S SAKE HE TRIES TO LEARN HOW TO USE HANYA MASK.

I often imaged what would happen if Rin Tosaka lands in the world of Zero no Tsukaima
and then trys the "Summon Familiar"-Spell resulting in getting Archer or almost-Archer-Shiro
With a "Human"-Familiar she would be put in Louise's category
and then archer could kick some aristocratic ass
the Hanya-mask, he is nowhere scary enough for than, also I believe it's a move reserved for maidens

WAAAAIIIITTTT!!!! Isn't that a bit of an... Overkill XD I mean Rin alone would be enough of a headache for Louise, two tsunderes in one place is a SCARY idea, and when you add that Human-Weapon, that One-Man-Army that Endless Armory or Weapons of Mass Destruction known as Archer or Counter Guardian EMIYA... it's scary dude, Scary. Shirou as he is in this story isn't even a Heroic Spirit and he kicks ass and takes names in a way that makes people shit their pants XD Still he was pretty happy when Henrietta gave him a title of Chevalier, now he could duel all those assholes who tried to order Louise around during the Invasion on Albion and would get away from it XD Hey did Eleanor's treatement of Louise and Saito annoy you ?? If so... look forward to some Breaking the Haughty :-3 Well Shirou does the Breaking to Louise as well though not in a brutal way, the brutal one was for Guiche XD
Well considering the fact that Seo feels a bit intimidated by him while Hikari and Hibiki are plain terrified of him and that right now he is probably the most ruthless, experienced and all-in-all scary person in Sekirei Plan... maybe except Miya and Karasuba.If some things didn't happen he might have just unleashed the horrors of The Grail War upon his enemies and NONE would be prepared for this kind of thing. two tsundere might get along just perfect, also Rin is quite good at read the mood and people, she could become Louise's best friend and coconspirator.
Archer would be overkill, he got weapons and tactics about 1000 years beyond what they have, no qualms to use EVERY advantage he gets and enough EXP to be a level 89 in a world of 30s. but He&Rin kicking the world into shape was the idea after all(Overlady & Queen of the World, Rin Tosaka)

Don't worry Shirou is pretty damn clever and sneaky on his own, he pretty much by himself created Black Ops Program for the Tristaine XD He is SCARY, Ruthless, Merciless and SCARY XD

Yeah he really is a serious badass XD He can take on Sekirei for god's sake, two at a time even and withstand Miya's attacks during training. And coming back to Hanya mask... I was thinking that he'd project Oni, but after a bit of thinking Berserker would be even better... he even mentioned that if he can't be The Lancer of Sekirei Plan (elusive and untraceable phantom) then he'll become the Berserker (so goddamn powerful that other Ashikabi will piss themselves at the very mention of his name)

there where old and reliable tactic discarded by the (top)stundents, cuz they won't work in 3D-combat and replaced them by made from the scratch new ideas.
ah that goldie, there are only two positive aspects of the Fate!Gilgamesh:
-his willpower/Pride/??? that even resists the Angra Manyu(all evil in the world)
-his try to stop/kill dark Sakura, while brutal his motivation was somewhat pure(it's his world, no one is allowed to destroy it without HIS permission)
everything else just screams card-carring-villian
making UBW-gil the worst version in fate

Well if Shirou acts in a way I expect (Yukari just got her hands on Shiina) then he will drag Yukari to Izumo in order to protect her and THAT will mean a Brother-Sister Tag Team The Devil Siblings Ashikabi XD

I finished Fate/Zero the other day, he had some nice Highlights in it

about Rin's father, his thoughts about Sakura's "adoption" were not evil, from his point of view he took the best option, giving Sakura's enormous potential the chance to claim a magi-heritage without disadvantaging the equally talented Rin.
my guess is he didn't know the full range of Zoken's teaching methods or anything at all,
