How does one code that angle at top of the footer? Just a really wide background image (and hope someone doesnt have a monitor wider than the width of the background image)?

I threw together a pretty crude example, but this is how you should code it in order to maintain responsiveness in your design. Basically, the image is centered and then the div is set to 100% width, this way no matter what resolution the viewer is on the background will remain centered.
