I very much like the style and image you are going for here. The color palette is perfect and beautiful. Your combination of abstract and realistic painting elements gives the image an incredibly unique feel to it through this symbiosis you have achieved. However it becomes a little disorienting when trying to make out the antlers from the background. But that might just be me. I don't know if 'the Golden Deer of Eurasia' is something from myth or folklore so I'm just going to interrupt it from what I see. To me it represents the meeting of the civilized world and nature. The village is humanity establishing their presence and encroaching on the neighboring wilderness. The deer, clearly a noble being in this setting, represents nature. His arrival at the human village and his current appraisal of it sets the mood of the image for the viewer. Are the villagers and wilderness going to be able to coexist peacefully? Or will they be in constant conflict with each other? Who is to say. There is no certainty at this point, only potential. Anyway that is my critique, I hope it was helpful and/or enlightening.

The idea of the golden deer of Eurasia is taken from the famous golden arts of ancient Scythians, I just make a stories... you can see more of them in my gallery "Deer of Eurasia". It's right, my works are some how experimental, I am a little bit tired when working in the same style, also trying to play with different textures...
