Description
Two days out from Billett's Rise Phaia tracked down the ogre's responsible for the merchant raids. The ugly creatures were too busy arguing over their spoils to notice the elf hiding amongst the boulders on the ledge above as she readied her axe.

The dark haired ogre stomped backwards and forwards across the clearing as the argument intensified, eventually coming to a halt directly below Phaia. Seizing her chance the elf dropped from the ledge and landed on the monsters shoulders and wrapped her legs around its neck. It yelped with surprise as she grabbed a handful of thick ogre hair and wrenched its head back with all her might.

The ogre staggered backwards into the path of its dumb-struck sandy haired companion and Phaia swung her axe left to right. The razor sharp weapon tore through the monster's throat. Blood sprayed from a severed artery and the ogre screamed in horror.

Acrylic on A2 heavy paper with Photoshop colour tweaking and blood effects. Working on A2 for the first time in ages took longer but I think it would've been tricky to get any detail on a smaller scale.
