what do you mean by freehand? you crew the whole thing on her back first right? so does that mean you did the whole outline in one session?

Freehand means i draw on her back without any Pics or Flash ....free...Then i did the outlines (my first outlines are like bloodlines with a little bit color...cause i want to work free and it could be that i need no line there when iยดm shading)...and in the next sessions i will do the shades and all what i need ....also without any references....that means Freehand to me...

Wow, that is really amazing. o.o I LOVE the runes going down the spine, and the texture and colors of the wood in the tree branches. This tattoo is going to be doubly amazing once it's finished.
