Lovely!! I love the composition of the page. Bishop always looks as if she is a very kind person...and Helix looks like the ladies man, as always.

thank you henrike! oh no, where did you learn to read minds?? chief adamson's role is actualy very significant in the story, though it isn't shown till much later.
oh by the way, since the indonesian language assimilate so many dutch words into its vocabulary, do you recognise some words from the descriptions?

hmm.... *reads* No, not really, except for words like Jerman (which sounds like German, which is actually english, in dutch we call it `duits`) and Sovyet of course....maybe if you give a translation of some words I can see where it comes from but I can see no clear similarities...
I`m really curious about all those characters now!

and "agen" is "agent", as in secret agent. oh, we take so many words off other languages!!

i find lester tricky to draw since his facial features are well distinct and during the number of times i tried to draw him he just turned out different--> like a random middle-aged black man 
what about yourself, do you ever find difficulties when drawing people with diverse races and ethnicity?

The avatar is actually pretty old. I think I made it with Gimp around 2 years ago, but I'm now using Photoshop.
I have observed that the girls I draw tend to be caucasian. I think the only exception is this geisha . There's absolutely no reason for it, but the cards seem to fall that way.

heheh i think i know what you mean! but it's really strange, i didn't think this "ability" to draw old people well was that important. i kind of took it for granted! i think what i did was just browse for old faces on google!

Sadly no! I wathed the movie "the king and the clown" a few month ago and I'm in love with it lol and also with the cutest actor ever

well, apparently many korean film directors make their lead female character very "average" in the beginning: not too pretty, not too interesting -- basically, just a regular girl. but in the course of the movie/series, she becomes more beautiful and alive and the audience gets to see this "transformation" and love her for it! the staff even use makeup to make the character look dull and boring at first! what a brilliant technique!
(don't you think this sounds like uke characters who get more feminine in appearance after their "encounter" with masculine seme?? LOL!
though i didn't realise it at first, i suppose i've been subconsciously going in this direction too for bishop. she was a bit 'macho' and annoying at first, making helix appear "cooler" and more charming

A few month ago, we had a TV show from germany with exactly the same thing!
The gril is more than ugly and she's crazy about her boss! It took her 456 episodes to become beautiful and at last to marry with her boss after saving his life like ten times
Well I don't know much about corean actor either XD (asian actors in general). I was just browsing on the internet to find some nice "yaoi" movie and then I saw this title. I check, see that this movie recieved numerous awards, the plot looks great so I decided to download it
I think the main actor's name is "Lee Joon Ki" looks like there's many differents ways to write his name lol and during all the film, I'm like "poor thing...come to see mama....damn you're cute....let's cuddle...squeeeeeee"
Anyway, The film is so beautiful (gorgeous costumes, places...)that I know have the DVD and watch it again and again and again lol

Hehe, hmm... Actually it's because I was very much inspired by a character from the front mission video game series, who happened to be german. And my mum used to live in zurich back when she was young, so she speaks german! That way I can just ask her about the german words I need!

Germans and intriguing? Hmm... that's a word I wouldn't use to describe us XDD I think we Germans tend to be a little stiff... XD but I like that we still have the reputation of being accurate and hard working (even though the latter is in question in my opinion XD)
But I like our history (the one before 1900) with it's castles and inventions... and I like the middle ages history and the remains of that history in our country
And it's cool that your mother can speak German

most of the time? why??
i think it's actually because of the "stiffness" that i find germans intriguing. i remember reading a survey that says that out of all europeans, germans are the most loyal to their partners. so i think deep down inside, these people must be rather sensitive (of course i can be very wrong!)
but i've had a number of german friends back when i was living in london and they were very intelligent, loyal and open-minded, so yes, that's partially why helix is german^^

Sometimes my language confuses even me XD And sometimes it sounds just blunt... but in other occasions it sounds nice... XD
Oh I guess most Germans are loyal because they have a tendency to avoid changes (or are utterly lazy) XD But I can confirm that fact :3 In my whole family there was no divorce so far and my grandparents celebrated 50 years weeding anniversary last year. My parents celebrated 20 this year and my aunt and uncle, too. And that's something I see from many families.
And yes, most Germans, especially the younger generations are really tolerant and open minded. There are bad exceptions, but they are everywhere I guess ^^"
