(from the fifth columnist project)helix in a more proactive pose--i hope!
this was an early attempt at tone-scraping so the result is a bit messy, not sure if it looks like leather 
the gun is unrecognisable too, it's supposed to be a retro sauer...thanks for viewing!

Hm...well, considering I'm still in highschool [ age: 16; senior ] I'm still unsure. I might be going to a community college close by and transferring hopefully, but I'm not even sure what career I'm going for. So if I transfer, it might be to a university to get a better grasp at a chance for a career.

Obviously art I suppose since I'm on here. Just not sure what kind..I've been trained under traditional studio arts, canvases and paintings, sketches. I wanted to try out animation and cartooning this year, and I do photography as well. Basically, yeah..something in art..haha.

Well, I guess that's what I plan to go for. I used to be so confused on my career choices, varying from writing to psychology, but yeah..the arts is something I'm interested in. It's something I love..but I'm scared I won't be good enough, so I need more practice then.

did some printmaking and it was fun, especially cos you had to do lots of etching (wood, metal, rubber etc) and the final result looks so different. would like to have a go at ceramics myself

Awe, I'll check the anime out since it soudns pretty cool, and I've done the rubber thing..I think? Is it like, carving like..an outline into rubber and such, then using a medium like paint and using it like a stamp? Cuz my 2nd year in school, we did these landscape sketches, transferrd them onto rubber, and stamped them with different color paints and kept carving into it everytime. So..I'm a bit confused now..haha.

The watchers will be notfied if their settings are adjusted to not only see deviations and journal entrys from the artist, but scraps as well. You can do that by going to your messages, "Manage My Friends" on the side in the setion on the page where you'd see the messages about people adding you and such and then check off a little box under scraps for the artist.
And I'll try to post them up tomorrow if I can find them.

yes it is a lot like that! there is also a pressing machine which my old school had. we stick the stencil to paper and there it goes into the machine! (actually, the machine looks more like a giant roll and we had to operate it by hand

Haha. Well, it was kinda annoying how we had it done 'cuz we had no machine, so an uber manual job on that. I think I have a photo of the prints done somewhere in my computer, but yeah. I'll make sure I check out the anime on a site somewhere cuz I am interested in it.
