You shouldn't detest it at all! It is absolutely gorgeous! The seagull and Vasuki looks so real! All the muscles are in place. You are so good at anatomy!

FAILED? no way. xD; I love the anatomy of the head, and how he winds down into the sea. The depth perception is amazing. The seagul is so realistic! Pleaseeeeee add it to your gallery. o3o After I reply to this comment, I wouldn't even be able to find it.

But I must, because my pic of Eiko wasn't near as detailed and realistic as your pic. I see many flaws in my pic of Eiko. If you are refering to a sketch as scribbles, you are right, because that is what a sketch is, by definition. BUT what you draw as sketches are NOT scribles. It's practically lineart. o_o Like, when you draw your pictures, do you just skip the sketch step and draw your line art? My sketches are SCRIBBLES. I sometimes can't even make them out. xD; Like, look at one of my sketches: [link] THAT is scribbles. |D

the sketchiest my sketches get are stick figures, the basics of the basics xD; then i just draw the lineart over it |D; so i guess i do skip the sketch :0 And that pic definitely doesnt describe scribbles :0 its so flowy and awesome ;3;

lol, I used size 4 brush for that sketch. XD I'm smarter now, and use size 2 brush, and I like it for the outline too. Easier for details. x3 I wish I had your sketching/lineart powers. @u@

Really? So that's your secret! xD I am discovering, us artists all have secrets to our art that people are slowly discovering. Whenever I draw with size 1 brush, my art comes out horrible xD;; like my icon. I drew that with size 1 brush. But then again, I didn't resize it either. I tried drawing an outline with size 5 brush once, that was fun. xD WOAH, you should try a thick brush, just for fun! I'd be curious what the outcome would be.

i should :0 you should do an entire picture in a 1px brush, too xD (resizing is allowed, since i'll do that too xD; ) i use a 1px brush when im drawing at sizes like 1600x1800, so yeah |3

Ya know, I'm gonna try that. I'm curious to see the outcome. |D; I'll make a canvas at 1600x1800 and draw somethin' with the size 1 brush, then resize. x3 Maybe I wouldn't need to sketch! .o. I'm going to sleep now, but I'll try tomorrow, yey. <3

Please Ando, do not call this beautiful picture a mess of a sketch, because it is not. You should not downvalue your own works like that.
This is such a beautiful picture, and you made the character look so sweet. I love the expression of the character. It is very kind and peaceful. That little bird it is looking at is very cute as well.
