This is number 77- test in the big 100 because it was a test of my resolve to finish this, and it should be a test for you guys to see if you can get any useful info from my ramble.
Its probably full of typos, but I just wanted to get it up, it can have minor edits later.
Have fun with it folks, tell me what you think.
EDIT the file was too big, so its been split into two parts, you can see the fist half by following this link [link]

wow, this is the best tutorial I've seen yet! Thank you. I've been trying to find out how people have such wonderful pictures with their color pencils, mine look like crap! Now I know the secret - Blending Pencil!! Plus the techniques. Do you mind if I use this to practice?

i sooooo need a blending pencil
how long do they last for?
do you have any tips from prolonging the life of them?

Hmm, I've used mine in 10 full drawings, as well as messing about with it. I reckon it'll go annother 2 before its too short to use. As for prolonging the life, I use a knife to take the wood off without cutting away at the core, that way you don't throw away loads of the core with you're sharpenings. (I dont know if I explained that properly)
They're not expensive and they're really useful so its worth it.
