Description
Here he is!!!As I said before I chose to emphasize his physiology
over cultural aspects. Much like angler fish and light bugs
I chose to give him "bioluminescence", or light produced
from the body, which is often seen in organisms that
exist in little or no light environments. [link]
This is a piece of an ongoing project where
I redesign the Bionicle characters as if they were in a
Hollywood pg-13 feature film.
Phew!!! And I am sad to say I will be taking a break from
Bionicle for a while to pursue other projects.

Fun fact: Onua is actually the weakest of all the toa mata/nuva, physically speaking. His great strength comes purely from his mask.

i LOVE this! the only thing that bugs me is his pose looks rather unnatural and quite painful. if his legs were turned or if his upper body was turned then it might look a little more natural. otherwise i LOVE what you've done to him ^^ im gonna look at the others now

Man, we all waited and you certainly delivered on the last Toa. Onua looks powerful, exactly what the possessor of the mask of strength and Toa of Earth should be like. The bioluminescence is a nice touch, and certainly a welcome one on this guy, and as always you allow details like that to flow well into the rather human-like form of the Bionicle.
If I might say, the only oddity I noticed here is how his right toes look a bit awkwardly positioned compared to how his leg lines up with his body. Other than that, an incredible peace and a great end to your original Toa works. If you do more Bionicle in the future, I look forward to them. Otherwise, I'm keeping an eye out on your other work.
