Description
I based his look on aboriginal tribes mostly focusingon their unique body painting. I also gave him some
athletic tape bracers to emphasize his love of sport.
Don't worry I gave him his "club feet" using my current
establishments for toa anatomy as my basis.

This is apart of an ongoing series of bio-mechanical
redesigns. Onua and Takanuva are the only Toa left.

It doesn't really do justice to Pohatu's thicc hips, tho. :>

considering how Pohatu fights, would you call it a form of martial arts? Β or just a series of kicks?

Where are his feet additions? Those are considered his "weapons" in set, so its odd to see them without them. :/
Other than that, This is a GREAT rendition of my favorite Toa, I applaud you.

Pohatu's got the muscle where it counts, and for him it's in his legs.
Love the pose, love the paint- makes him kind of look like part of a soccer team (or Kohlii, if you follow that sport), and the pose is just awesome

I like it, but I think you need the light brown on the feet.

To me, the streak of light from his eye is a pretty good addition. It makes him look like he's whipped his head to face the screen VERY quickly and therefore makes it seem like he's got excellent reflexes that would be quite useful in a game of Kohli.

He seems kinda plain but I know that little else could have been done to spruce him up. That always miffed me about Pohatu; he didn't have Toa tools, just bigger 'shoes'.

This is incredible! Very tribal, and the biomechanical aspects of the Toa really come across here. Forgive me for asking, but will you do Onua next?

Nice. Definitely feels like he should be out in the dust of the Australian Badlands.
Interested to see how the other two will turn out.

Looks great Man! Though I was expecting him to have a bit weirder and less standardish looking body shape, since him and Onua were more hunched over and different. The aboriginal and sports nods are great. I think having his hand and feet wrapped would have looked really good. Then he would have looked more like an aboriginal Mui Tai fighter.
