This one has been posted on my website as well as twitter, but I'll add what I wrote here:This character I love to draw. It's from a Colombian Indigenous legend of a woman who was the leader of the Tairona. I designed her with magic elements (not like she wasn’t magical herself in the legend already) but adding a twist of a modern look for younger audiences.

Thank you! Taironas (the tribe she belonged to) were famous for their gold statues full of patterns decorations. So I used those patterns as a reference for her dress, also keeping the wear her descendants (the kogui) wear nowadays. So I had to mix between the two, adding fantasy elements.
