Ok guys this is a fast and rough concept for Fluix Explorer.It's not sure if its going to be this one for Fluix. Its just a first approach to make an explorer concept. Things might change, a lot or less, including names and others. Eventhough i'd like to see if you like it and what do you think. I hope i can find some time the next days to continue it a little bit and finish some details

It seems a bit cluttered and the shine at the top center doesn't match with the interface on the rest of it... but other than that this looks great. Red and black always look good together

Thank you. Well Tim, current windows explorer is also complex with the ribbonui. This is the 1 part of the idea which gives to explorer most of the tools available on a window. Obviously modern needs are many and you need right tools wherever you are..
There is also another solution where you give less tools, more flexibility and clean windows but consider opening and closing all the time windows and tools just to make what you want. You need extra time obviously. This is like we have a stylish nice metro window without enough tools to work and without specific meaning.
This preview is not finished. Tiles on the left could work like windows phone tiles. You click the arrow and brings next tiles with categories e.g my pc, disks, folders and whatever you pin there. You can drag and arrange them as you want including nice photos below, which lets say could link as shortcuts to "pictures" folder. A singer could have songs pinned there..
On the middle you have a full preview of the current picture. Below you see the previous picture as a panorama and on the right sidebar the next picture. Clicking the arrow below could bring previous and next pictures available in that folder.
This is a preview mode and its not finished. I have to make a concept where all the pictures will be shown without being on a preview mode

I accept your idea Tim. I'll make many versions because obviously some could like it and some others not. Eventhough perhaps the "too much color" makes it complex. Next versions will move on other roads and we pick what best suits us haha

Yes, this looks very nice and stylish. I have a question, Will applications from other OS's be able to work on Flux? For instance Adobe Photoshop or a game like GTA IV?

I see it looks nice, but I agree it is little complexed and first use will be confusing. I don't want to say that it is bad work. I really see potential and responsibility for this work and you with your command trying to do the best. I really hope it will be great os. Keep up good job
