Most likely because Cadence and Twilight were made alicorns, and not naturally born alicorns like Luna and Celestia.
Cadence was originally a Pegasus before she was an alicorn. there's a book or something about Cadence's back-story.

Theres also another theory that she is younger than Celestia and luna.
Luna had her hair non-wavy at the start, and then she got older and her hair became the cool one.

Luna's hair was not wavy because she was weak and lost her power from the fight. After she regained her strength and proper authority along side her sister did her hair become majestic

Imagine how much rage Hasbro would get from fans if they established that Twilight would become immortal. They'd be forced to make the rest of the mane 6 alicorns, which the fans would rage about even more considering how there would be 9 alicorns.
Hasbro just can't win.

And if that would happen it propably would be done with out the acceptance of the other alicorns, specialy Celestia, because they dont deserve it! Except for being the "agents" of the elements of harmony... But that dosen't make them good enough for being alicorns..

Remember. If it wasn't for The others, Twilight wouldn't have been an Alicorn. :\ they taught her friendship, and she used the knowledge that she learned from her friends in a situation that allowed her to be reawakened as an Alicorn.

then you're basically saying Twilight didn't deserve to be an Alicorn either. :\ remember how she was before she met the others? She was studied obsessed, thought highly of herself.
She even said in the first episdoe " the fate of equestria does not rely on me making friends"
Apple Jack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash opened her eyes and made her realize that friends ARE important. Without them, Twilight would have remained the way she was. The others must be given credit for changing her for the good, or else we wouldn't have "princess" Twilight today.

Hmm... Now that i think of it, the only reason's Twilight became the Princess instead of the others, is because se mastered the magic of friendship and was Celestia's apprentice.
Because she was the element of Magic, she was the one coming princess instead of the others.

Being Celestia's apprentice has nothing to do with it. Sunset Shimmer was an apprentice of Celestia before twilight but like celestia said, when she didn't get the results she wanted quickly, she chose her own path. It just so happened that Twilight was dedicated to Celestia and did what she told. She became the element of Magic by recognizing that she had friends.

Yeah... But still becaming an alicorn was the happening of many things collied. Sunset shimmer had the possibilitie for becaming an alicorn, but she got obsessed with power and... Well everyone knows what happened then. I belive sunset had some friends of her own and that she wrote friendship reports like Twilight did later. But its just my theory..

Actually Hasbro has yet to decide what spelling they plan to use. Most of the toys have the "a" but some of them have an "e".

I don't think that's Hasbro being unsure as it just being that Hasbro consists of multiple departments and poor communication between them. Some people there, believe it or not, are not knowledgeable about the spelling of Pony names and honestly don't care. They just write Cadence and be done with it. I've seen things like Apple Jack or Twilight Spark. Don't tell me you think Hasbro is unsure about those names too?
It's silly to think that Hasbro is unsure about the name of a product they've already released.

Just about any source, including the writer of the episodes Cadance appeared in, reports her name written with as Cadance. Her name is as confirmed as all other canon names.

It doesn't make any sense. Her full name is Mi Amore Cadenza. With an E. Whatever, I'm not going to change anyone else's name, Cadence just makes more sense and looks better.
