Description First Snow - 06

As the sun slowly started to set, I walked back down to the plateau to grab some nice evening light. As so often recently I wished for some more spectacular clouds - but what can we do.

One RAW multiple processed and manually blended.

This could be one of your best lit photos of your entire gallery, it's truly amazing.

Here I am, naggin about you not havin proper light and you finally startin to pump the good light in dev after dev after dev, makes me happy .

This is a fantastic shot Andreas, really great. I think youre hopes on "good clouds" here got set because more chaotic clouds would draw away attention from the beautiful foreground and mountains.

Thanks for the photograph mate, keep the high quality photography going!

/Rob

Thanks, Rob. That's all because now I changed the way I approach photography and I get out there when the light is better and I stay up in the mountains over night. Comments like yours made are responsible for that change. The growth of experience and excitement is huge.

I'm so glad to hear that cuz it really shows in the later of your photos posted that it's alot more techical aspect thought of behind the photos, which makes me glad .

Keep at it man, it's only the beginning, who knows where this will end ;D.

I'm workin on a series of shots here, more on that in the new journal I'm gettin at.

Btw, what post processing are you doing with your shots?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

AndreasResch In reply to Bobbolina [2008-09-20 14:54:14 +0000 UTC]

Depends on the image. Overall adjustments are made in Lightroom - sometimes on several exposures of the same scene. In Photo I do thing like local contrast and brightness changes. If there are several exposures I blend them on different layers manually.

Okey How are you resizing them without losing any sharpness?
