i'm already christian
but from what i've seen, it seems most people are being very un-christian, like how many shows are half the characters having sex with a different girl ALL THE TIME?
but its kinda scary when for a country that prides itself with freedom is now trying to take that freedom away. other countries looked up to us too! but now our government is being more and more ridiculous -_-

So true. You're also right about others losing respect for your country, though we know it's not because of the people living there (mostly), but because of bigger institutions and the government. Intolerance to certain groups of people though I blame selfishness and narrowmindedness for. Some are victims of twisted religion beliefs, some are just arrogant, undereducated and/or afraid of anything different from themselves.

yeah, these are practically (scary) facts of human nature: humans will generally not do anything unless they get something out of it,and anything different is automatically bad. i mean really, i'd be afraid for an aliens that come during our lifetime to help us, humans would go to instant war with them, just because they are different, and the stigma following said aliens. at least people are (in general) becoming slowly more accepting every couple generations.
but on another note, i absolutely hate the idea of people who hate their own country just because they can. mostly the wannabe rebel kids, and they don't even really state what it is they dislike.

Yeah, there are just too many spoiled and ungrateful people whining about anything and everything, while living in one of the best countries in the world to live in. Not much to do with it though. Kids will be kids.
