Well, that's what it is.Nice isn't it?
The weather was blowing a gale, sand was being blasted at me and the sun wasn't really in the best place - during the winter/autumn the sun is better placed to illuminate the mountain I understand, but hey it is what it is.

I like this a lot - at least as much for the foreground as the iconic and familiar hill in the background. I've seen a lot of pics of Table Mountain, but never before one quite like this. Which is surprising enough because as far as I can see it must've been taken from very near the home of my oldest dA friend, ~densitometer

I realise the intended subject maybe didn't turn out as you wanted but as ever you've thought of the entire frame; the most impressive thing for me about this image is the foreground, and its inherent colours and composition. Nice work...

Cheers man, I loved the foreground and although I wanted more mountain I certainly didn't want a camera and lens full of sand so lens changing was out the question hehe.
