Description Well here it is.

The Lego VW Bug I've been building and had to rebuild because of an odd mistake on my part.

A grand total of 1,626 pieces.

Cool things about it:

The front "trunk" opens (as visible in this picture), the back trunk opens to show the engine (next photo), the doors on both sides open, the couch folds down and the front seats fold down.

Over all it was a pretty complex model.

What's next?

I'm honestly not sure, but I'm sure it'll be quite enjoyable.

A.

hehe, I built this too! It's sitting on a shelf in my room.
It took awhile, but it was definitely worth all the work.

T'was this a kit? Or from your imagination? Either way, it looks great! XD; I have a tonne of lego collecting dust on top of my desk.

It was a kit.

My eyes were going blind by the end of it because of dealing with all the blue pieces.

Ah, I see...

I know what you mean. I had a battleship one that was fully comprised of mostly black or gray pieces. O_o

Ugh. X_X. I can't imagine doing that.

The Eiffel tower one (3,428 pieces) is completely grey, and it's mostly 1x1s.

My brother and I wanted to snap and head to the looney bin after working on it.

Ouch, 1x1s? Painful. XD; But lego is still awesome fun to build.
