Hedorah, also known as the Smog Monster, from the 1971 classic 'Godzilla vs. Hedorah' (aka 'Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster' in the US) is an extraterrestrial kaiju composed of sludge and filth. According to Wikipedia, it was named for 'hedoro', the Japanese word for sludge, slime, vomit, or chemical ooze. The loathsome creature feeds on the pollution of the world and poisons everything around it – it's the perfect candidate to head the EPA for the Trump administration.
