Description
Continuing with Song Lyric Character Designs, I was inspired by Iron Maiden's 'Rime of the Ancient Mariner', a song made in homage to the original Samuel Coleridge epic. I thought I'd depict the Mariner once again telling his tale while an albatross (another one or perhaps the spirit of the one he killed) looms behind him.Simple 2B pencil drawing on Daler-Rowney sketch paper.
