I've always loved Captain Marvel and thought the idea of a little boy using magical words to turn into "The World's Mightiest Mortal" was simply awesome! Sketch by "The World's Mightiest Canadian" .I took some liberties with the sketch, scaling and moving things around just a bit. And I hope I didn't overdo the FX too much. The lightning was the toughest part because I didn't know if I wanted to go the realistic route or not. Hopefully the highly stylized version works. Hope you guys dig it!

I hate his new name. Like the wizard who gave him Billy's powers is named Shazam (aka Jebediah of Canaan), Billy has to say "SHAZAM!" to be a grown ass looking buffed hero and his hero name is Shazam. It confused me most of the time when Billy tell his name without any lightning hitting him.
I wish they could keep at least the "Captain" in the name, like why not "Captain Shazam"? It would be better.
