Description Well, here it is! The first page of Chapter 7!

Now we get to find out where Jerome and Lark were all this time!

This chapter will contain many famous pieces of music, mostly rock and jazz, and maybe include an original piece (!). This stems out of the fact that the birds in Norm and Cory are known in the entire forest for their singing (they sing in actual lyrics, rather than chirps), a fact that was foreshadowed by Jerome in Chapter 1. I originally thought music was a simple hobby Jerome had, but then I realized singing is associated with birds in general as well! So,.. what if EVERY bird sang?! They would provide the world with a gift only they possess! That's all the exposition I will give you now.

Enjoy!

Oooh, birdies! It's not even called Norm & Cory! This should be good. Like everybody else said, it looks great. I love the variety of birds, some even look kinda fishlike, one of them there looked sort of dinosaurish at first glance (very small dinosaur). And one of them looks like Jinxie! I like the vegitation too.

That Darwin quote looks familiar. This should definitely be interesting!

I have names for some of them. I call the dinosaur bird, as well as another very small bird, "Bluth birds", because they are drawn and rendered in his style. That Jinxie bird was supposed to be just a mime, but she ended up looking like Jinxie. There's also two female woodpeckers, crows, and if the seagulls weren't faded, they would be those gulls from Finding Nemo who say "Mine!"

A mime bird! That would be interesting, especially in a musical chapter.

I just love the imagery in this. How it moves, the coloring, the blur effect, It just looks like it was taken as a still from an animation

This has some really great atmospheric perspective, creating some great depth.
The layers really work well creating that!
The designs of the birds work real nice, also.
Very nice job!

THE COLORS!!!

anyhoo, I'm highly excited for this chapter... the last was great (not one of my personal favorites, but still a classic...) and so on... I still owe you my half of an art trade. @.@ I sketched corey and lark some time back, but that hardly counts... perhaps in honor of this chapter I should attempt some Jerome. X3

That's fine, whatever you want to do. YOu don't have to wait to see what happens in this chapter to make one, either.
