Whether or not I actually get to see this, I'm going to be supporting it as a 2D movie and not a CG movie, but at least when they're CGI it's in the context of being in a live action setting.

That was pretty much my reaction to this as well. I didn't wanna believe that a good movie could come out of a show that is LONG past its prime (For the record I can still watch the first 3 seasons of SpongeBob and the first movie and still laugh my ass off), but when this trailer came along, it actually reminded me of why I even enjoyed the show so much in the first place. Hopefully this movie can give me what this trailer gave me, and more.
Also, I love how more recently CG films have become more and more cartoony. I honestly prefer that kind of CGI.

I myself am FREAKIN' HYPED!!! We all know that CGI is everywhere, so we don't expect it to be that great. But watching this trailer, I was blown away by how GOOD the CGI actually was! I know they aren't really there, but for once, I actually DID believe they were there! They actually did look so realistic!

And even when they turn into their buffy selves, their character and humor is still in tact! So I wouldn't have such a hard time looking at them!
