Description It was a clear Halloween night as small car drove though the woods on the long strait gravel road towards what was once the thriving coal town of Fall brook. The two college students pulled to the side of the road, flash lights in hand and made their way to the old graveyard. They were there to ghost hunt, however they had no idea of what they were about to witness. After sitting in the cemetery for a few hours they began to become bored and very tired, eventually deciding to head back up to Mansfield for a college party. Making their way back though the dense brush, a loud echoing shrill cut thought the air. Stopping right where they were, shining their flashlights all around to look for the source of the noise, it came again, this time with a lumbering chuffs. Two parallel glowing lights entrapped the boys, who jumped out as a third even brighter light beamed in from above, with loud hisses and clanging metal. A huge long glowing train rumbled between the two bewildered students, slowing as it approached where the old coal tipple used to stand. It sat their for a few moments, waiting to take another load of coal that would never come. Then, with another blast from the whistle, the train dissipated back to the world from which it belonged. The night was once again still, only a owl's hoots broke the silence. The two college students gave each other looks of both fear and accomplishment and made their way back to the car. "No way anyone is going to believe this!" the one said from the passenger seat.
Happy Halloween!

This is just a locomotive that regularly brought coal trains from Fallbrook to Corning, NY. After the coal mines shut down and the town was abandoned, the rails were removed and the locomotive and cars were abandoned because they were beginning replaced by larger equipment. The train had sence disappeared without a trace. Most people believe it was scraped where it was during WW1. Every now and again people in near by Blossberg hear strange whistles, but usually assume it's the foundry.
