Description
I am not the kind of man who believes in supernatural activities, but one Halloween night I was Scheduled to work as a conductor on a North bound train to Grenada, Mississippi. I didn't mind the night shift as it was usually pretty laid back unless the engineer was rough and I'd have to replace a knuckle on a car. Anyhow we got our train orders, we had a leased CSX jeep and train of 15 empty box cars Β and started off all fine. As we neared the town of Canton things began to get strange. the locomotive was having lots of wheel slip, even though the rails were dry and the train was not very heavy. We continued on till we were near where the old town of Vaughan, then all of a sudden, a bright light came beaming down right in front of our train! The engineer quickly applied the train break in response but it looked like what ever was in front of us was going to hit us! Next came the loud Shrill of a steam whistle before a loud BANG!... then everything went dark and quiet... We both opened our eyes to find our train had stopped and nothing appeared to be wrong. I walked the whole train and there was no evidence of any collision, just a few stiff breaks from our strange emergency stop. I climbed back into the cab, the engineer looked pale as a ghost and asked if there was anything wrong with the train. I said no, and he said that the dispatch said that there were no other trains were scheduled that night... Soon we were back under way, we did int tell a lot people about the encounter for people would think we were crazy... but I have little doubt that we had an encounter with the ghost of loco 382 and Casey Jones.ΒRelated content

Bruh, not everything has to be realistic. Plus, some people do believe in ghosts.
