alright, here is my updated trophy for mario in my super smash bros ultimate custom trophies collection

ive decided to rework the trophies i had uploaded back in 2019 just to make sure that the characters are properly placed on the trophies

now when it comes to marios backstory, im going with how commonwealth realm described his backstory in their mario timeline video (which is one of their few GODD timeline videos as it didnt leave anything out from the franchises timeline, which is a problem i had with their kirby, pokemon and sonic timeline videos) in which mario was born as one of the 7 star children alongside donkey kong, yoshi, luigi, peach, bowser and wario as he and luigi were going to be delivered to a family in the mushroom kingdom, but kamek messed with the delivery and kidnapped luigi along with the stork, leaving mario to be protected by a tribe of yoshis who help him in rescuing marios brother luigi and stopping the younger version of bowser while making sure that they dont alert the toadies as they would fly down to take mario away whenever one of the yoshi's are attacked as they would hear mario loudly crying out of fear, after stopping bowser and saving luigi along with the stork, they were delivered to who was supposed to be their parents, only for them to realize that mario and luigi were not the babies they ordered, causing the stork to try and take mario and luigi to their correct parents only for kamek to kidnap luigi again in which mario ended up on egg island where he goes with a different tribe of the same yoshi's to save his brother for the second time except that this time, a version of bowser from the future arrives on the island to get rid of the yoshi's only for this version of bowser to be defeated and sent back to his time period, after this, mario and luigi are finally delivered to their parents proper as mr pipe, a living warp pipe with shoes and eyes returns to his home as it turned out that he was a version of mario from the same time period as bowser as he visited egg island in the past to make sure that bowser doesnt mess the timeline up, and after mario has teamed up with the yoshi tribe for a third time to stop the 2 bowsers from kidnapping the other star children, the 2 brothers are finally delivered back to their family where they grow up in the mushroom kingdom, fighting bowser to save peach during their childhood as they grew into adults in which mario started off as a construction worker for new donk city who saved pauline from donkey kong before she was elected to become the mayor of the city as mario and luigi settled on a job where they become plumbers for the city as they help with cleaning the sewers as it was being invested by an army of shellcreepers, spinies, sidesteppers, fighter flies and koopa troopas, while working as plumbers, they stumble upon a warp pipe that takes them back into the mushroom kingdom in which they are tasked with saving peach from bowser and with this, mario and luigis adventures begins as not only do they have to save peach from bowser on a daily basis, but mario also deals with his own adventures such as having a dream where he saves subcon from wart (Super Mario Bros 2) teaming up with peach, bowser, mallow and geno in stopping the smithy gang from taking over the mushroom kingdom (Super Mario RPG) getting saved by yoshi after goomboss trapped mario in a painting as they go through other paintings to save and team up with luigi and wario to save peach (Super Mario 64 DS) teaming up with new allies as they help mario with finding the star spirits while stopping bowser from using the star rods power (Paper Mario) getting kidnapped by king boo out of revenge for stopping him for trapping luigi in big boos haunt (Luigis Mansion) going on a vacation in isle delfino only to be wrongfully arrested for stealing all of the shine sprites and vandalizing the entire island as he uses FLUDD to clean the island while clearing his name as it turned out that bowser jr was impersonating him (Super Mario Sunshine) teaming up with luigi to save the beanbean kingdom from cackletta and her minions after taking peach's voice away (Mario And Luigi Superstars Saga + Bowsers Minions) visiting rogueport as he teams up with more new allies to find the crystal stars so they can stop the x nauts from awakening the shadow queen in the thousand year door (Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door) teaming up with luigi and their younger counterparts to stop the shroobs from messing with the timeline (Mario And Luigi Partners In Time) teaming up with luigi, peach and bowser to save other dimensions from darkness and reuniting count bleck with tipi to prevent the apocalypse (Super Paper Mario) getting eaten by bowser as both brothers help him with reclaiming his castle from fawful and getting the dark star out of his body (Mario And Luigi Bowsers Inside Story + Bowser Jr's Journey) getting kidnapped by bowser as peach has to save him and luigi this time, reversing the roles temporarily (Super Princess Peach) saving pillo and the dream world from antasma and bowser while helping luigi during his sleep (Mario And Luigi Dream Team) teaming up with a paper version of himself to stop both versions of bowser (Mario And Luigi Paper Jam) getting saved by luigi again after king boo kidnapped him for the second time (Luigis Mansion Dark Moon) traveling to multiple galaxies to save peach while looking for power and grand stars (Super Mario Galaxy 1 And 2) teaming up with luigi, peach and toad to save the sprixies from bowser and teaming up with bowser jr to deal with his fathers fury (Super Mario 3d World + Bowsers Fury) teaming up with cappy to save peach while traveling to other kingdoms to look for the power moons, one of which is a kingdom that mario hasnt been too in years ever since he and luigi were taken to the mushroom kingdom (Super Mario Odyssey) starting up his own toy company in new donk city, which reunited mario with donkey kong after so many years (The Mario Vs Donkey Kong Series) saving daisy and sarassaland from tatanga (Super Mario Land) stopping wario so he can reclaim his castle from him after wario kicked him out (Super Mario Land 2) and going on a vacation with luigi, peach and the toads to a hotel, only for the hotel itself to be haunted by more portrait ghosts (Luigis Mansion 3) or if mario wants to take a break from some of these activities, he can always participate in some of the sporting events that peach or the mushroom kingdom hosts, ranging from kart racing, board game parties and sports like baseball, basket ball with characters from the final fantasy and dragon quest universes, golf, tennis, an edgy but awesome version of soccer and even competing in the olympic games alongside sonic and his friends and enemies from mobius, though how they got into the 2020 olympics is something i never understood given recent events in real life, but i digress (The Mario Kart Series, Mario Party Series, The Mario Sports Spinoffs And The Mario And Sonic At The Olympic Games Series)

when it comes to the mario series, it is nintendos main franchise and its one i grew up with thanks to the nintendo 64 and the gamecube in which i got to play games like super mario 64, mario party 2 and 7, mario kart 64 and double dash, luigis mansion, super mario sunshine and my favorite game in the paper mario series, paper mario the thousand year door, and when it comes to super smash bros, mario getting in definitely makes sense and i approve of this, even if donkey kong, yoshi and wario are listed to be from their own franchises when i always saw them as being characters from mario's universe

when it comes to my preferred games in the mario series, mine has always been the 3d games and the first 3 paper mario games as im more familiar with mario's 3d games more so than the 2d games and the new super mario bros series and i like the 3d games where you enter a part of the hub world that takes you to a level where you collect a star (shine sprites in super mario sunshine and power moons in super mario odyssey) and i love the first 3 paper mario games as they add so much world building to marios universe and making it to where the enemies that mario would normally stomp on in the games are villagers and people that lives their own lives without turning against mario to work for bowser, heck some of these guys even help mario out on his adventures like lady bow, a female boo and 2 goombas like goombario and goombella, there are unique new species that we never see in the main games like dooplighosts, x nauts and the new species introduced in super paper mario, the first 3 games has unique locations that arent just the same types of levels we see in the new super mario bros series, in which we get locations like a fighting arena in the sky with glitzville and a town filled with shady people and a mafia of piantas with rogueport and these 3 games has an interesting story thats not the usual "Saving Peach From Bowser" type of story that we see in most of the other games, though the first paper mario game goes with this premise but adds a twist to where mario teams up with other partners to look for the 7 star spirits, its unfortunate that intelligence systems never goes back to the same routes as the first 3 games ever again as when i think about paper mario, i think of the first 3 games because of the interesting story, world building and unique locations and species that we never see in the main games, not saving peach from bowser while doing paper gimmicks like collecting stickers, restoring color to an island or saving peach from a race of origami creatures taking the form of bowsers koopa army while fighting office supplies (though i have heard that origami king is better then sticker star and color splash, but i need to play the game first so i can see if thats true or not)

for marios overall character, he is based on his main counterpart that we known him as from the games and i combined him with his paper counterpart, more specifically from the first 3 paper mario games instead of the modern paper mario games and paper jam

so yeah, thats my trophy for mario, im sorry if im late on this one, i was going to upload this last week, but because my computer froze up on me, i had to reload everything and i thought that i had to start this upload all over, only for it to turn out that deviantart saved the description i made for the trophy so i didnt have to rewrite EVERYTHING again from scratch, so thats good, atleast i didnt have to rewrite an entire discussion all over again because my power went out while i was asleep as deviantart didnt save anything

the next trophy upload will be for a certain gorilla with a red tie who is mostly known for internet memes because of the intro for one of his games along with a tv show that was... definitely a product of its time and being crushed by a giant gameboy, ill see you guys there
