[link]"Memories are blurry as I struggle with my inner drunk for consciousness. Memories of the night before are like vaguely-remembered reruns of Mystery Science Theater Hour at 3 in the morning. As my hand finds itself still clinging to a container for classic Kong, I began to recall what exactly brought me to last night.
"Bad memories brought on by the family-oriented holiday season. A wandering to some Adventurer's Club out in the desert. Drinking 'buddies' that I never met before in my life, one a black Scottish man in an eye-patch and bomb squad armor, the other a violet cartoon horse with tattoos of fruit on her thigh.
"The noise of my roommates complaining flicker into my earshot, and it begins to sink in how unpleasant this holiday season is going to be."
