Myst was a huge obsession a few years back, and while the passion has faded, the appreciation and satisfaction I have gotten with the games and their story remains strong. I happily have all the games and have played all forms of URU that I have the chance to try.
Above all, I have appreciated the simple island from the first game: Myst itself. So full of wonder and intrigue in its design, full of secrets to discover. Seeing it in the final game, decrypted and decayed, is a somber sight (andrewnuva199.deviantart.com/a… ), but I find the memories of it past to be stronger still (www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2nXkz… ). It truely is a series that is fascinating to look at, and fun to explore.

I've read this book several times, and all that's happened is that I found a portal to an island full of puzzles and more books like itself. And it's all been perfectly safe. I even have my own little book a similar type that lets me go to my own private island: andrewnuva199.deviantart.com/a…
