BOOK TWO: NO HOLDING BACK, SSW VS. UW
Angel Falls Time, 5:30 pm, Wednesday
Upon entering the control room, General Bardak and Polygirl set to their main goal: Destroying or otherwise disabling Ultrawoman’s terraforming cannon.
This was no simple goal, though it was simply stated. They had hoped to locate some form of translator or that the villainess had translated the alien language to something Terrestrial, but the fact of the matter was that if anybody knew how to operate the base, it was Ultrawoman.
Fortunately, the computers controlling the weapon were still active. They made for them and puzzled over the screens.
“Damn it,” Alvaro growled as he and Paulina watched the alien symbols scroll across the monitor, “We’ll have to find something explosive…”
“Um… General?” the young woman asked as she looked worriedly around them, “What if we can’t? And… What if we can’t find Ms. Walkiria?”
“We’ll do what we can, Polygirl,” the armored hero replied, “Even if it means blasting these computers to pieces to make the weapon inoperable so we can get a proper assault force mobilized…”
Turning, they saw the flame-tressed heroine held in place on the torture rack Ultrawoman had left her in, their focus having been on the computer as they entered so they had missed her when they first passed. The young scientist let out a startled yelp and cringed. She’d never seen one of the people she looked up to in such distress.
“Walkiria!” General Bardak shouted as he ran to her and started prying at the bonds holding her securely. Seeing how her bonds were still locked in place, he used his helmet sensors to scan any possible vulnerable terminals or hidden controls.
Maia’s head hung slackly, her brilliant crimson hair spilling down over her strained shoulders and around her face. She had witnessed her lover battling Ultrawoman before a brilliant flash consumed both of them. She didn’t know what to think, and had been struggling throughout the past hour over whether or not Olga was dead. On top of that, her muscles were sore and the rack was keeping her energy reserves depleted and her body weak.
“Can you hear us, Ms. Walkiria?” Poly asked, her voice creaking with worry.
“Control…” the heroine replied weakly, “Ultra… Control-… -Ler…”
“We’ll have you down shortly,” Bardak said while drawing his blaster and looking over the torture rack, “Polygirl, this machine can’t be shut down without Ultrawoman’s access codes, but if we destroy the primary matrix junction then disable the back-up protocols, it should shut down all the systems to this torture device and release Walkiria.”
Polygirl looked worried from his suggestion, but she knew he had seen his type of technology before and probably knew how it worked. Trusting his advice, she got out her equipment and readied herself. He then sighted the base of the torture rack and fired a low-level shot at the primary matrix junction. A small explosion erupted inside the torture rack and part of the machine began to slowly cease operation.
Polygirl and Bardak immediately rushed to the control console. “Maybe I can cause a power overload that could short-circuit the entire device, causing it to shut down. I’ll need a few minutes to examine this, General.”
“Ooh!” a sharp, silken voice rang out from above.
“I don’t think we have a few minutes” said the General when he heard the strange voice
The two heroes turned to see a clearly feminine figure creeping in the shadows of the rafters above. She was humanoid, and prominently endowed, but also had a feline tale flitting back and forth.
“What strange mice have snuck into my Mistress’s summer home?” she asked, her voice dripping like poisoned honey.
“WarCat,” Alvaro gasped.
While Ultrawoman had told her to go to Earth and enjoy herself, she really had just wanted to have a chance at bedding her mistress without the interference of the Princess or the Toy. While the Princess flew off to wherever and the Sentinels boarded the shuttle to leave, she stayed in her mistress’s bedchamber and waited for her triumphant return. Certainly, she would want to celebrate…
However, it seemed there were complications, and the sudden messages, images and videos she saw splashing all over the personal computers in Ultrawoman’s chamber, sent by the Toy, no less, only further proved the impending attempt to ruin several years of plotting. The feline could be difficult to rouse from her relaxation, but she wasn’t about to just sit idly by while some stuck-up, self-appointed heroes just waltzed in and fucked up her mistress’s base. She pulled on some panties and headed out to stop them.
Which led to this situation…
The gray-furred catgirl leaped down from the rafters, somersaulting elegantly as she descended and bounced from rafter to rafter on the way. Finally, she pirouetted off a pillar and tumbled to the floor to land softly on her feet. She stood proudly, her large chest thrust forward so they could clearly see the studs in her pierced nipples through the fabric of her top. A grin split her face as she saw the reaction she caused in at least one of the intruders.
Paulina frowned at the spectacle, then turned to the General to gauge his reaction. She wasn’t used to such vulgar displays, but she feared that as a male, he might start thinking differently when presented with such attractive features. The older man drew his sword and took a few breaths. Fortunately, he wasn’t swayed by a simple display of female parts.
“Poly… Help Walkiria! I’ll take care of this talking, cat-nip induced kitten,” Bardak said calmly
“Right!” the small girl shouted and immediately rushed back to the console, trying to safely shut down the torture rack.
“And here I thought this couldn’t get any easier,” Bardak said as he split his swords into two and got into a defensive stance.
“Oh, this is going to be very easy, Spaceman,” the feline woman purred, “And to think… I figured Mistress’s main squeeze was sending me some sort of chore list… I’m gonna enjoy ripping open that tuna can you call a suit and gobbling up what I find inside… Then I’m gonna bat that new toy you brought with you around for a while until I get bored…”
She flexed her fingers while making a pawing motion at them with both hands and her fingernails extended into wickedly pointed claws. She let out a happy little hiss and grinned evilly as she narrowed her eyes at the startled Polygirl.
“…And I NEVER get bored breaking in a new toy!”
With an angry bellow, General Bardak charged the gloating villainess, his left sword raised to his midsection so the point was aimed for her. WarCat giggled at this and deftly spun about, raking her claws across the shoulder plate of his armor. After noticing the semi-deep scratch marks, Bardak pivoted his foot, then raised his right sword to his midsection then struck at WarCat; but she instantly dodged his attack then jumped on top of the General and began wildly raking her claws all over his helmet, chest, and arms. After Bardak regained some of his balance, he then swung his swords over his head, but WarCat quickly jumped off his head and landed a few meters away from him. He then took a few seconds to examine his armor. He noticed his armor wasn’t fully punctured and he could still go out in space, but saw many scratch marks that were a few centimeters deep. Realizing if she continued she could eventually rip off his armor. He put away his swords and got out his gun.
“Ohhh…” she awed at the sight of her nails suddenly being sharper from scratching the General’s armor, “Now your fancy spacesuit is all scratched up. After my Mistress returns, maybe she'll let me keep your armor as my personal scratching post.”
“This is combat armor, kitten” Alvaro growled back, “You’re going to have to do a lot more than put a few scratches to intimidate me!”
He punctuated the sentence by firing a few times at the cat girl with his blaster. Powerful blue beams hurtled through the air like fiery darts. She ducked, dodged, cart wheeled, somersaulted and flipped out of the way of the barrage. A few blasts came close, one even singed a patch of fur from her forearm.
Angrily, she closed the distance between them, raking her claws into his chest guard. Her claws didn’t puncture the interior this time, and when she went to follow up her attack with a few kicks, Bardak kicked her in the belly, sending her a few feet back and knocking her off balance.
“Agh, you son of a bitch!” she shouted as she backflipped to her feet and assumed a new stance.
Meanwhile, Polygirl was hard at work, trying to find a way to disable the torture rack. Part of her was worried she would have to face WarCat. She could have multiplied herself to simply overwhelm the feline criminal, but she wasn’t particularly skilled in combat. Not a half hour ago, she’d fallen on her butt when startled by Bardak! How would she be able to pin down an athlete like that?
Her best bet was to try to free Walkiria. The superheroine would give them the advantage they needed to overpower WarCat and disable the terraforming cannon. Frantically, she pulled up her operating system and scanning equipment to get an idea of the fields draining the heroine and how they worked. In the background, she could hear Bardak and the catgirl battling.
The battle continued to escalate with each passing second. Although Bardak managed to land many good punches and kicks on her, WarCat managed to claw off some of the armor protecting his neck and chest. After seeing some blood exit the wounds in his chest, she seized the moment to kick him with most of her might at his wound, causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground. While Bardak was trying to get back up, the villainess instantly pounced on the armored General, pinning him to the ground and keeping her left knee on his chest. Her right hand held down his left arm, and her left hand held down his right arm. Alvaro tried to struggle, but its efforts were met with his assailant grinding her left knee into his open wounds. Leaning in close, the sadistic feline licked her tongue across her subdued opponent's exposed neck, gently brushing his skin with her teeth. Bardak gripped the gun in his left hand; he knew he had to stop WarCat before she killed him. As soon as she got close enough to his face, he twisted to wrench his left arm free and fired a massive energy blast at her torso. WarCat, using her enhanced agility, leaned back and dodged the blast, then watched it as it hit the ceiling. She then leaned forward, hit the gun out of his hand, and then punched him in his face. She moved closer to his face, giggling at the General’s bad aim.
“Aw, poor baby boy get excited?” WarCat asked as an aggressive purr trilled out of her throat, “Did you blow your wad from being pinned by a pair of plump tits like these?”
“I see being with Ultrawoman has made you more dense and closed-minded,” Bardak grunted as he tried to push her off.
“Tough talk for someone who is about to die… It’s too bad you wasted that last shot,” she chuckled.
“Did I?” he asked as he gave a defiant, lopsided smirk.
Curious by Bardak’s reaction, WarCat looked directly above her and to her shock, she saw a large portion of the ceiling was about to collapse. She jumped off the General and tried to escape the debris, but her foe quickly grabbed her leg and pulled her to the ground. Though she tried to stand up, he dragged her closer to him and punched her in the stomach with most of his remaining strength, trying to keep her under the falling ceiling. After taking a second to catch her breath, WarCat quickly kicked the General and tried to escape, but the ceiling collapsed and crushed the two fighters under its weight.
“BARDAK!” Polygirl yelled as she saw the ceiling fall on them.
A few seconds passed and she heard no response nor saw any movement. Trying to fight back her tears, she continued to disable the torture rack; thinking it’s what Bardak would have wanted. There would be time to mourn later. She was almost done when she heard a small rumbling. She turned towards the wreckage, hoping Bardak would emerge. To her shock, WarCat rose while brushing off the dust and small bits of debris clinging to her fur and shaking irritatedly.
“Ahhh…I really wanted to kill that bastard…Oh well. I guess it was nice enough of him to do it for me. Hee-hee!"
The gray-furred woman turned toward the young inventor and licked her lips. Her mouth quirked into a wicked smile.
"Well now, what do we have here…? A cute little spider for me to play with? ” she said, her sadistic smile widening as she turned stepped toward Polygirl.
Shaking off any fear she had of the villainess, the heroine copied herself ten times and formed a defensive line while the original quickly resumed her work. Seeing the line of copies and another at the control junction, WarCat chuckled. She knew she could never allow her to free Walkiria. Although still very wounded from the collapsed ceiling, she immediately charged at the one on the box. The line of Polygirls rushed to stop her, but were easily defeated by an agile leg sweep from the cat girl, critically injuring a few and leaving the rest winded on the ground.
Before WarCat got close, Polygirl copied herself 3 more times and surrounded the original. WarCat pounced right through the copies and tackled the Poly at the control. To her surprise, it was just another copy and she crashed on the ground a few feet away from the rack. The original Polygirl emerged from behind the rack and quickly began finishing her work. A few seconds passed as WarCat was pinned down by her remaining copies, though they were being vanquished by the thrashing, twisting villainess. She finally disabled the torture rack, however, and could hear the device beginning to shut down. Just as she was readying herself to help Walkiria down, Polygirl was suddenly pounced upon by WarCat.
Giggling sadistically while holding her down, the feline gently removed all of Poly’s gadgets and equipment and threw them across the room. She smiled evilly at the sight of Poly’s struggle to escape and the look of horror on her face.
While WarCat was too distracted having Polygirl pinned down, Bardak rose from the wreckage with blood dripping from his chest and shoulder, and multiple openings in his armor. Despite the grievous injuries, he still wasn't done, though.
“WARCAT”! he yelled as he readied his sword in his right hand.
Though she was facing the opposite direction of him, the gray-furred feline felt a cold chill climb up her spine. It couldn't be possible...
“Why won’t this bastard ever die?” she angrily thought to herself.
The armored hero threw his sword directly at her. Without even looking back, she could sense his sword about to strike her, so she leaped off of Polygirl just before it hit her. His sword phased through his young friend’s hands, though, and pierced the wall a few feet away from the torture rack. While WarCat was in mid-air, Bardak quickly picked up his nearby gun and rapidly fired at her. Multiple powerful blue energy blasts struck the villainess in various parts of her body, causing serious damage. Too distracted by pain and the sight of her blood exiting her wounds, she crashed against the near-by wall and then fell to the ground. Having subdued the threat, he lowered his gun and warily walked towards Polygirl.
“Are you alright, Poly?” Bardak asked as she got up
“I’m fine, General...But the bigger question is, are you all right?” she asked with a concerned tone.
“I’ve had better days. How much longer before Walkiria is free?” Bardak replied
Realizing she almost forgot about Walkiria in all this excitement, she turned towards the red-headed heroine. Fortunately, the subroutine she'd started before WarCat assaulted her had taken hold and the system was shutting down.
“In about 7 seconds. Let’s help her down General,” Poly said as they both rushed toward the device.
The machine completely powered down and the bonds holding her retracted. Unconscious, Walkiria fell to the ground.
Bardak and Polygirl caught her just before she landed. As they gently placed her on the floor, WarCat suddenly regained consciousness, her regenerative properties closing the injuries she'd sustained. There would have been trouble if she didn't see what they'd done.
Hissing and scrambling madly at the sight of Walkiria free from her bonds, the gray-furred villainess tore across the floor, seeking an escape tunnel that would take her safely away from this base. She didn’t want to be around when Walkiria decided to breach the reactor core and cause the base to literally melt down.
Bardak quickly drew his gun and rushed toward the escape tunnel. Upon arriving, he saw WarCat was nowhere to be found. He quietly growled, trying to guess where she had disappeared to. He then put his gun back in its holster and rushed back to Walkiria. Using his helmet scanners, he scanned the heroine and noticed her life signs were continually fading. Knowing he had little time, Bardak opened a small compartment in his armor, and got out a small particle regenerator. After pressing a few buttons on it, he aimed it at her heart as a small orange light began to emit from the device. While he hovered the device up and down over her chest, his helmet scanner showed him her life-force was rapidly stabilizing. Once he concluded her life-force was stable enough, he shut off the regenerator and watched Walkiria’s body start to repair itself. Alvaro then reactivated the device and began hovering it across his chest, rapidly healing the wounds on his chest and shoulder. After his wounds were completely healed, he then pressed a few more buttons on the device and aimed it at the critically damaged parts of his armor. A small green energy beam emitted from the device and began to instantly repair the openings and damage to his armor.
“What is that neat little device?” Poly curiously asked
“It’s a particle regenerator; basically an advanced field medical and repair kit, all wrapped up into this little device. It can instantly heal serious wounds and can even repair damaged armor. Standard issue for all Republic field troops and officers.”
“I’ve got to get me one of those,” the young woman quietly said to herself.
Walkiria stirred and pushed herself groggily from the floor. When the other two helped her to her feet, she wobbled a little, but gained her composure steadily.
“Thanks for the rescue," she said quietly, "Now I have some unfinished business with that bitch, Ultrawoman. My advice for both of you is to get out of here as fast as you can…” Walkiria said as she got up
“But we need to destroy the cannon and get the General’s ship to the surface!” Poly argued.
Without a word, Walkiria slowly walked up to and smashed the control computer she had seen Ultrawoman use to fire up the cannon itself with a double-fisted overhead smash. Alarm klaxons sounded and red lights flashed. Though she didn’t know it, now only Ultrawoman’s remote control could fire the cannon. She assumed the computer was the only control, however.
“That should do it. I need to find out what has happened to my beloved,” she announced as she tensed to fly.
She could feel power flooding into her body again. It was spectacular, but at the same time insufficient. She had access to all of her powers again, but all at a severely reduced rate. It would have to be enough.
“Do you have a way of getting back to Earth?” she asked as she hovered above them.
“I suppose I could use the carrier signal to transport both the General and me back to the Guardian Headquarters,” Paulina replied, “It can handle both of us, I’m sure, with no ill effects. But… There’s still the matter of his ship…”
“We’ll work something out,” Alvaro said as he pulled his helmet back on, “Come on, Poly, our mission’s accomplished here.”
Walkiria turned and soared away.
The suit still wasn’t up to one hundred percent, but with the repairs he performed, he would be able to avoid exposure to the void for enough time to get to the lunar surface and get teleported back to Earth.
“Poly… If we can make it to my ship, would you be willing to try something with me? Perhaps we can jury rig some of my ship’s systems to sync up with your teleportation carrier wave and teleport the whole wreck to… Someplace I know…” Bardak said as they jogged down the tunnel
“You’re going to let me work with your ship’s technology?” the girl asked in surprise.
“Only some of it,” he replied, “I still can’t allow you to see too much…”
“I understand,” she replied, “I’ll see what I can do…”
They jogged at as rapid a pace they could so as to get to the ship before their air ran out…

No, but it does sort of look like that. I think that is the light on the gun itself.

Bardak reminds me a lot of Jim Raynor crossed with a certain Sorcerer's Apprentice old dude wearing old-mans' shoes.
Guess it's just more money for our dear Ultra to spend on a new control computer because Walkira forgot to melt down the core... and Ultrawoman will get to fire her pretty little cannon, I guess...
...unless somehow the Kaphyron battle fleet shows up and razes the cannon to the ground.

Bardak is from the future so technically he hasn't been born yet so he is a very young negative age at this time, must be nice.
Walkeria is probably more interested in melting the core of a certain villainess.

A certain villainess... ah, I get you. But it would mean Ultra has a chance at terraforming the planet... unless Ultra forgets the relativity paradox and somehow manages to get the cannon to backfire on itself...

Of course the princess is Dark Star who kind of did something afterwards that got her in a bit of trouble. The toy is Walkeria and I wonder if Ultra's mother told her to be careful and not to break her toys.

That's right Polygirl. When the police raid the whore-house they take the piano player too. I hold you just as responsible for Snowball being shot as I do the little corporal who pulled the trigger! I can think of all kinds of creative uses for you as a multi-limbed sex slave. Consider your fate Polygirl. Think about it often. Think of it every time you are alone, unprotected, and vulnerable!
And you Bardak. Never forget that it is you who brings her to that lowly state! In addition to bringing my wrath down upon you like the hammer of Thor, you have sealed your little trollop's fate as well.

General Bardak *rolls his eyes then talks in a calm/sarcastic tone* "Oh, I'm soo scared. You forgot punched, collasped the ceiling, and one or two sword strikes in addition to being shot. Poly-girl had nothing to do with it. If War-Cat would have paid more attention to me getting up from the wreckage than playing more attention with Poly-girl, she might have avoided being shot, but then again being with you has made her dense and a little slow."

Veery good chapter! The General can take some punishment and he was lucky onyl his chest plate was damaged because WarCat would have done much worse. Still he`s a seasoned soldier and was able to get a blasts on her before she bolted!
Polygirl held her own using her copies to fight off WarCat sweet she used about 20 till she got nabbed. but it was a good effort. Walkira just smashed the computer even in depleted strength Cool! With the computer demolished and the remote damaged the cannon is pretty much disabled unless theres a back up. Which I suspect is in control by Hotrod.
Great render. I like how Polygirl looks and Warcat!

If she gets any more famous she'll dump Angel Falls and get her own show. I hear there's an opening on 'Two and a Half Men.'
I'm sure she can just make one if she really needs one and it would come in handy for her if she does leave and has to talk that strange Hollywood lingo.

Right, like she'd really leave her lab to go work in Hollywood.

I object, Walkiria broke the computer before she could figure out how it works.

Walkiria is not known for being overly intellectual. Lucky for her Ogre Yezhov likes them big and not too bright.

Well she did make it harder to use the system. Of course if Polygirl could figure out what the system was saying she could reprogram it to use any measures to deal with intruders on Ultrawoman and her crew.
