Description
Wrex and Grunt Dragon Effect MercsImagining the Krogan as sort of a subsidiary race to the Qunari. Lesser in number and therefore mostly serving as hired mercs instead of having an actual system of government.
Grunt- referenced Sebastian Vael’s armor a bit for Grunt’s look, wanted him to come across as more of a good natured young Krogan who is trying to distance himself from the violent nature of his race. Maybe Shepard would run into him while he’s out on a soul searching pilgrimage or something.
Wrex- By contrast I wanted Wrex to look like he’s totally embracing his badass nature and I’m imaging him as leader of a wondering band of pillaging Krogan mercs before deciding to aid Shepard. (maybe a renegade Shep gets Wrex while a paragon gets Grunt).
and yes I realized I sort of switched their personalities from ME but it just sort of felt right to me for some reason.
Next up will either be Garrus and Thane or Tali and Liara, haven’t decided yet.

I have a feeling Grunt's pilgrimage will end with him accepting and embracing his violent nature. Just a thought.

Both sets of armour look absolutely fantastic, I'm particularly fond of Wrex's but maybe without the horns (maybe if they were in line with his crest). Also good call with the battleaxe and mace. I do believe krogan would definitly favour heavier weaponry.

Interesting, even if I think that the DA version of a Krogan could be a Hurlock, ferocious and fearless... Maybe Wrex as a sort of Hurlock Emissary and Grunt as a Hurlock Alpha

Cool as always! I think that I'd pick Grunt for my party.
So I guess since Thane and Garrus are snipers that they might be rogues with bows or crossbows. In any case, lookinh forward to the next picture!
