Yes, and California is just a beautiful place to be in general. I live in Phoenix, so I love getting out to Cali for anything!

I live in Santa Ana... we're 53% illegal. Fortunately we live in one of the few nice sections left. I'm trying to get my wife to move a tad further north... with little success! The weather is nice; 80 today! Everything else is too damned expensive!

Dang that sucks! I really like the San Diego area myself, but if I could pick one place over CA, it would be Hawaii. Kauai in particular I thought cost of living was comparable to CA there and it is just an incredible, un-spolied paradise. Very much like a small town and everyone seems very friendly. I always figured that if cost of living is expensive where you live, you better enjoy living there and if it wasn't expensive, then everyone would live there.
