Description
A first attempt at drawing a nebula.I looked up lots of tutorials, but most of them were all using stock photos from clouds and such, and none were really these "painted" ones?
Though I found 2 or 3 speed-paintings and some painted ones to look at.
But, it seems too flat and uninteresting.
Please, do critique me. I just need to know how these work and all that?

Heyhey, this looks good! yeah, it's hard to find space art that doesn't use a crazy bunch of photos XD
you achieved a really wonderfully detailed look here, but I gotta say I really needed to zoom in to max to really appreciate all of it I guess that's how space itself works too XD
keep up the great work
and about the flatness? I wish i could suggest something, but I have so much trouble with that too ;u; maybe we need to wait for some master to come along and teach us the ways

Thanks a bunch for the feedback!
I noticed the same, even while working on it, that you had to zoom in to see the details. Mostly the stars. But I couldn't fix it and make it look "right".
I think it'll be a lot of practice and experimenting ahead, just like those landscapes I once promised to continue.

yeah, it's really hard to get those details *just* right XD It's always so tempting to draw single-pixel stars
..woah, I just noticed that when I zoom in on the star it looks like it's pulsing! That's so awesome!! *U*

Yes, it is. Although here in my school, all the art teachers are like "Nobody can have a 10/10, nobody's building/floorplan/etc. is perfect!"
->Why, I'd sure like it to be close then at least!
Pffffr- thankies!!!
