YES! I've finally finished it!
DeviantART, I give you: The Shadow Samurai Ranger!

My story as this ranger is pretty interesting. It combines elements from two different evil ranger stories, the MMPR green and the Psycho Rangers.

It's slightly long, so I'll try to sum it up:

Master Xandred decides to defeat the Samurai Rangers with one of his own. So, Octoroo kidnaps me, brings me to the lair, and Xandred engulfs me in a cloud of dark energy. He christens me "Shadow Ranger", and gives me my purpose: "Destroy the Samurai Rangers!".

Later, I get the Rangers attention (with the alert of course), and an intense battle ensues. I bring them all down WAY hard, but before I can finish them, Xandred pulls me back to the Netherworld. With me not near, Xandred reveals his plan: I will destroy the rangers, but slowly, so at the same time, the Sanzu River will rise (like how Astronema used the Psycho Rangers to drain Dark Specter's powers).

Then, at some point, I engage Antonio (Gold Ranger) in a lengthy one-on-one. I hurt him so hard, he Almost DIES! Also, I crush his helmet, slice his Barracuda Blade in half, and destroy his Samurai Morpher.

The other rangers find him, and rush him to the Shiba house. They try hard, until getting an idea. They use the 'live' symbol power. It weakens them alot, but it works. Now the rangers must fight the Nighloks without him, until he can build a new morpher.

Anyway, at some point, the Rangers finally defeat me and my Shadow folding zord (appearance undecided) StingZord. Just like Tommy, I'm freed from the evil spell, and join the team. So, at least until Antonio can build a new morpher, I am the Samurai Shadow Ranger!

Story update: Once Antonio builds a new morpher and rejoins, I still fight with the team. That is, until Master Xandred resurfaces (after learning that Serrator was lying to him). Like in the episode, he brings Jayden down hard. But for me, it's worse. Despite drying out, Xandred throws attacks at me that WOULD destroy someone. In a final explosion, I'm gone! My morpher vaporized, the symbol of Shadow useless, and me GONE!

While and after the Rangers take Jayden back to the Shiba House, they're all very depressed at the idea that I'm dead. However, back out in the open, I'm laying on the ground. Alone, weak, powerless, nearly immobile. It turns out, Xandred's power was too weak to completely destroy me. He just sent me flying far away quicker than the eye can see.

So, with the little energy I have, I pick up a shattered piece of a Mooger, and throw it were it could be sensed. The rangers soon arrive, find me now fully unconcious, and take me to the hospital. I stay there, getting treated. So, now the Rangers are six once again with Antonio.

Story Update again: After Xandred is destroyed, before the Rangers all go their separate ways. Mentor tells them there's someone to see them. Then, walking in through the gates, is Me. I'm alive and well, and I come to say hello and goodbye. Also, to say that I'm proud of them, that they were able to destroy Master Xandred without the Shadow Ranger's help. Off-screen, I meet Lauren, say hello and chat. It can be that maybe, Mentor expected me, and before Lauren left, he had her stay a bit so Jayden and I could let her in on what happened regarding me. And then, I went outside to surprise the other Rangers.

As the Shadow Ranger, I possess weapons called 'Shadow Shackles', which can block weapons n' all that stuff. However, I don't use a Spin Sword, my symbol power is fired from my arms and the shackles instead.
My "Shadow Morpher" is a black repaint of the Thunder Morpher from Ninja Storm (also, it isn't worn on the wrist).
My helmet symbol is based on the kanji for "black".
My zord design is currently undecided. Look at bottom.

Update 4/7/12: I've decided on my zord. It's the StingZord. It's based on what some of you may know as the ScorpionZord.
Yes, I know it's Deker's. But, here's the side-story:
(Note: the Deker part will only happen if the zord is put in the show)

Xandred originally gave me the Sting Zord as the evil Shadow Ranger. But, when I become good, I use it to help the rangers. So, when Deker returns, the Nighlocks regain control of the Sting Zord, and give it to Deker. But, he'll obviously be defeated, so I'll get it back.
